SUBSECTIONS:

~The Scorpion's Domain~

The Scorpion Kingdom:

-The Royal Family: A group of wildclaws with elemental powers that rule over the territory. Headed by Venus, the founder of the clan, the family was originally quite devoted to the protection of all dragons in the territory--but recent branches of the family seem to have more self-centered ideas of how their power is best put to use.

-The Lion's Guard: A group of powerful wildclaws (breed change to mirros? should they rlly be WC's?) with no elemental power but great physical prowess. Employed and paid by Mars, they serve as a sort of personal secret army to keep the clan in check, in exchange for better privileges than afforded to most of the clan's common folk. Known for their ruthlessness and cruelty, the Lion's Guard, are feared--but not all of the members are so keen on their reign of terror. The Lion's Guard are forbidden to take mates or sire hatchlings, but this rule might not always be followed as strictly as Mars hopes...

-The Traders: A small group of coatls who somehow found their way into the Domain. While quite out of place among the general savagery of the wasteland, they've found a safe niche offering their wares and skills as tradesmen in exchange for general protection.

-The (Name these guys): The massive clan of mirrors make up the majority of the Domain's population. Most are wiry, desert hardened survivors, taking what they can get and generally uncaring of the drama occurring in the royal family--but a select few among their great number have set their sights higher, and strive for a better life.

The Scorpion's Nest:

-The Outcasts: On the edges of the domain, in the somehow even less desirable parts of the territory, lives a small clan of pearlcatchers. They were exiled from the main clan due to refusal to follow the orders of the royal family, believing their own leader, Rhia, to be the rightful queen of the domain. The clan has allied with the Aviar native to the area, and away from the watchful eyes of the Lion Guard, they plot together to seize control and dethrone the Wildclaw monarchy.

The Outskirts:

-The Lurkers: On the outermost reaches of the domain, an escaped prisoner lies in wait. Brimming with evil magic, Pitch gathers both strength and followers as he plots his revenge.

-The Hunters: Two Gaoler dragons--a mated pair--have been tasked with recapturing the escaped prisoner before he can do any damage. Out of their element and in over their heads, the pair must rely on each other for survival in the unfamiliar and unforgiving clutches of the wasteland.

-The Savior: Rumors swirl through the clans of a way out--a mysterious messiah who snatches up eggs in the night to deliver hatchlings to a safer place, far away. Some swear they've seen him--an ancient Skydancer, cloaked in white. Others swear he's just a myth.
