In the mist of the small forest of the Driftwood Drag, a ginormous tree can be seen in the south western territory. It lies on the other side of the Wispwillow Grove, beyond a small purple spruce bridge crossing a river of dark, murky water. All around are glowing fungi and rotten logs. Mountains of fungi tower over you, casting a soft blue glow onto your face as you stand there, thinking about this mysterious place. You had heard about this place in old stories dragons would tell during the Trickmurk Circus, and decided to try and find it because of the curious traveler you are. Walking forward, you hear a few owls and other birds in the distance, but there was no noise coming from where you were heading. The path was illuminated by the pale moon, and only a few glowbugs could be seen flitting about here and there.

When you walk toward the little lanterns, they separate, creating a brilliant path of silver. You continue walking through the tunnel created by the tree’s roots and hear snickers of dragons as they watch through the dark. They’re the tricksters of shadow. However when you look around, they are nowhere to be seen. Dragons of the shadow realm always love playing tricks and games with outsiders. Being a traveler, you had heard many other stories about the shadow dragons and their tricks. One famous story was of the dragon who lost an arm. They say he had gotten too far into a secret clan and the tricks had gone wrong. You shudder at the thought.

Further in the mist, you see a small light up ahead, and keep on walking forward despite the weird sensation in your stomach. When you finally reach the end of the tunnel, you are stunned with the view of the hidden lair that can only be reached through the tunnel of the tree. Many others have tried to find this place, but failed. The tree itself is also hard to find, since it is located on the other side of the Foxfire Bramble, the labyrinth of brambles and thorns that is filled with mysterious creatures. Pixies, gloomwillow guides, duskrats and other critters call it home. Most get lost when trying to get through, and find themselves back where they started. Some actually say the brambles move themselves.

Stepping through the tree, you peer around at the dimly lit surroundings. Dragons can be seen sleeping in soft nests made of marsh chokers and other plants. A hatchling chases a duskrat around a tree. You also look up as a shadow comes across you and then the sight of dozens of dragons in massive dens in the trees meets your eyes.
A dragon suddenly swoops down and appears in front of you, making you jump.

"Hey! I'm Spring! Are you new here?" The dragon jumps around excitedly. Her colors were beautiful. She had crystalline bubblegum pink wings, with hues of light green and yellow on her body. She was an Imperial dragon. Normally Imperials are large and majestic, but this dragon was small and… Springy. She doesn’t stop jumping around and instead, she and eyes you carefully while doing so. She asks again,“So?”

As you brought your gaze from the magnificent view to her eye, you nod nervously.

Spring cocks her head to the left a little and looks toward the dark sky, like an owl thinking. "Oh! Gui must've invited you here."

This time it was you who tilted your head.
"Invited?" You were confused. Weren’t you just exploring this unknown part of the forest, and stumbled across this place by sheer luck?

Just as you finish that thought, the dragon nods. "Silly. You don't think you really found the entrance by luck?"

You stare at her. Then you look at the other curious dragons that are approaching. Everyone here seems nice, no matter how gloomy the surroundings may be. It’s nothing like what the other dragons from the other clans have said about shadow flight.

"Oh... well I guess not…” You say softly, still a little shocked by the whole thing. “I'll stay. I like it here.” You look up to the sky and sigh. “It’s not like I have anywhere else to go.”

"Great! What's your name?" Spring asks.

You respond,"Antares,” then proceed to smile a bit for the first time here. “It's a star."

Spring grins. "Well then, Antares. Welcome to Gui's clan."

Hai! I'm Kaidi! I'm also Katherine.

I've been a member for probably three years now, (on hiatus for one ^^;). I'm in Shadow clan (obviously) and my favorite breed is Skydancer. Then Imperial or Wildclaw, and Nocturne. I'm pretty young, seeing that I'm in 9th grade, so I'm often very busy so sorry if I take forever with the art.

Hmm... what else? Well, I like video games like Overwatch, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, and classic Mario games. I'm a real big procrastinator and I'm kind of lazy honestly.

I'm fine if anyone wants to chat, so pm me. ^^ I can accept random friend requests too! Uh that's all for now I guess.

oh hey there! I'm very torn with her, I love her and the outfit ideas, but i've spent so much money recently on making other dragons pretty, I sort of put her on the market saying "well if she sells then more money, if not i'll dress her in the future etc"
