There are countless amounts of dragons, countless accounts of clans, countless tales told about each of them. So what makes this clan so special? There is nothing particularly exciting about them, they’re just like any other clan you might find on your travels. They have problems just like everyone else, strive to be the best that they can, struggle with the beastclans. But one thing has brought them together that few other clans can claim. At one point in their lives they were nameless. I don’t mean without a name, for each dragon has one, but they didn’t have a purpose, they didn’t have a home, didn’t have a family, didn’t even know why they were going or doing what they were. This is what made them nameless.

Why food, you may ask? It is vital for every dragon and for many of the clan makers, it is what brought them together. Whether it was their favorite food or one they most looked like, food brought them together in one way or another. Toaster and Cranberrysauce, the clan leader and his mate, at one point thought that the best name for their clan would be Food For Thought as so many of their clan mates had food type names, but then decided that there was something better.

Each clan needs sections in which dragons can put themselves in order to find a purpose. The clan’s medic and healer is Jalapeno. Much like his namesake, he has a fiery temper and doesn’t deal well with stressful situations, but when a dragon comes to him, no matter what the injury may be, he is calm and kind. The healers that train under him are used to their fiery mentor and some of them have even adopted the same personality.

Beastclans have been and will always be a problem for dragons and so this clan required fighters. Popcorn volunteered. His name may bring a smile to your face but his fierce posture, armor, and fiercer face will wipe it off. He rarely jokes, rarely smiles, and rarely loses. Working side by side with Blueberryplum, the scout leader, the two protect the clan. The former prefers to keep to the shadows but when he does appear in the sunlight, his smile is just as bright.

Some dragons can be superstitious regarding magic and otherworldly apparitions and to keep his clan mates safe from it all, the shaman Berrycrunch keeps the apparitions at bay and provides tokens of luck and fortune to keep away superstitions of his fellow dragons.

Oh? I didn’t tell you the clan name yet? Well, that was the point. You see, this group of dragons, while named after foods, wasn’t always this well organized, they had problems when they first started out. It wasn’t just figuring out a clan name and what groups they should have, it was thinking of what they would have that would draw dragons to them. Eventually they reached the conclusion that it would be: nothing. They didn’t need anything special to draw dragons to them. All they wanted was for dragons to feel that they had a home. And so the clan name was created: The Clan of the Nameless.
