In her vision, she saw a deep ocean. The dark water writhed with shadows and stars, the currents striking against each other to form violent shapes in the tide.

The matron serpent. The silent destroyer. The hollow prince. The wounded prisoner.

The water spun faster, crashing like many fingers reaching towards the featureless grey sky. It stretched for the horizon, tearing at the rotten cliffs that held it at bay.

The stone prophet. The crowned jester. The hidden thorn. The lonely god. The wind roared their names, one after another, faster and faster until she could no longer tell the words apart from one another.

And then as it tore its way towards the land, she realized the sea was not water, but a throng of dragons--thousands of them, swirling and diving, swarming so thick as to blot out the fading red sun. She could not see the Plaguebringer, but it did not matter. She was there, and soon, she would be everywhere.

The infection evolves. The sickness spreads. And in the end, d̖eca̷͓y͕ ̨͎̹̝̳w̯įl̯̳l ̯͙̩̺̻̥c̡͖̮̲̝͉o̧̩̺͉m͝e̲̥̞̲̥̘ ̢̰͚̞̪̭f҉ơ͔͔̝̝͕̖̙r͉̩̮̀ ̞͕͔̲͕̤u͉̙͝s҉̹̤̤ ̶̠̭̜̗̖͓̯a̪͔̞l̵̹̱̹͓͓͕̙l̳̫̪̜̜̣ͅ.




Welcome to the Cult of the Red Queen. This clan of overdramatic misfits may be bent on the total obliteration of all dragonkind... But that doesn't mean we can't have fun in the meantime!

This lair is lore-heavy, so feel free to friend me if you're into that kind of stuff. I was away from Flight Rising for over two years (literally) so my whole account is going to be kind of a hot mess while I figure out what I want to do with it.

This clan used to be in the Shadow Flight, which is why my progen has purple eyes and my underlying aesthetic is "angsty garbage fire". My actual in-real-life sweetheart is redpyre, which is why our dragons have a lot of crossover lore.

08.19.18 ♦ Saoirse made a push for the Abiding Boneyard, and Zhas followed loyally. Many dragons abandoned their clan in the following weeks, but judging by their leader's apathetic demeanor, that may have been part of the plan.
