Hjorth's Clan

Lesser Lair
upon the

Clan Info

Ruled by the matriarch Rkin, this clan seeks to become bigger and stronger to best protect its lair and the giant, ancient statue hidden within.

A huge statue of a cloaked figure stands in the back of the cave. The statue is Rkin’s charge, which is the reason she chose to build her lair around it. Rkin is a calm and wilful dragon, and while she isn’t impatient per se, her longer than average search for her charge has left her without much tolerance for wasting time. She rules her clan with great confidence.

Rkin’s mate, Torkhun, chose to stay with her because of locational convenience: His charge, some strange, two-legged male creature, lives in a village close by. He has developed a strong affection towards the boy and spends most of his time watching him in secret, only tearing himself away when he needs to fulfil his duty to the clan. In that respect he’s very loyal, and Rkin doesn’t mind his odd behaviour, as long as he’s there when he’s needed. Like his mate, Torkhun is a silent one, but this is mostly due to shyness. He has a tendency of mood swings.

Tfeh is the first outsider to join the clan. The hatchling was found wandering around outside the lair, and nobody really knows how the ice dragon got so far from home. Rkin thinks this a sign of hardiness and determination, though, and considers him a welcome addition. He's friendly and playful, but somewhat dimwitted.

Lmu is the second, and came at a very young age to ask permission to become part of the clan. She's smarter than the average Tundra, and next after Rkin she's considered the most sensible and level-headed member og the clan.

Htahni and Dsere are Rkin and Torkhun's son and daughter - they had two sisters as well, but they disappeared.
Htahni is the biggest and strongest of the clutch and fairly arrogant as a result. He considers himself the protector of the clan, even though he has yet to prove himself worthy of that role.
Dsere is the runt of the litter and puts a lot of effort into proving herself useful despite her size. She's very obedient and pedantic in following the rules of the clan, obeying Rkin's word to the letter. She's strong for her size, but neither knows nor believes in this, and considers herself the weakest in the clan.

Rosc is not officially a part of the clan, but an outsider that Lmu has taken to spending time with. When confronted with this, she said she didn't wish for him to become a member - she didn't even want him in the lair. Rkin disapproves, but trusts Lmu's judgement. Nobody knows what the two talk about.
