Welcome to the Melinae Clan! I'm iam, and as a lover of animals I was inspired to study the dragon aspect of Magizoology (also known as Dragonology). Of course these dragon species are only hypothetical, but they serve as satisfying simulation substitutes to genuine dragon species when it comes to researching genetic variation and the crossbreeding of species.

Before becoming a Magizoologist, I studied at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as part of the Hufflepuff house. Athough Hufflepuffs are generally underrated and misjudged, we're actually a great addition to Hogwarts due to our contributions in the fields of Magizoology and Herbology alike as well as our undying loyalty to others.

The Melinae Clan is named after our mascot Melinae, whose name is in reference to badgers (specifically European badgers). Although badgers are seen as earthly animals, the Melinae Clan has adopted the Wind flight due to the powerful idea that dragons are meant to be free roaming creatures and should not be restricted even if wizards and Muggles alike fear them.

The Melinae Clan takes in dragons of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, creeds, colors and even flights, and is not biased in any way. In fact, the Melinae Clan promotes genetic variation and a suitable life interacting with other dragons through crossbreeding, gene experimentation and Familiar bonding.

Bestiarium Magicum

Augite Protector

Summary: "Keeping an Augite creation in good working order involves semi-regular patching and allowing the creature long stretches of slumber."

Physical Description: Feline made of Augite (dark mineral) with dark brown carvings, golden inset minerals and bright yellow eyes with black pupils.
Bond: Bound to Promno
Personality: Laid back, enjoys scratching stone. Takes frequent naps.

Bluefin Charger

Summary: "The bluefin charger hunts on thin ice. It will charge its prey, breaking the ice beneath their feet, sending it to a watery grave. The charger itself is semi-aquatic."

Physical Description: Equine-esque ungulate with light blue pelvic fins, dorsal fins, gill slits and hooves. Countershading with gray/ dull blue on the top half of its body and white/ light blue on the bottom half of its body. Multiple sets of blue ears, a blue tongue and yellow eyes with black pupils.
Bond: Bound to Azzie
Personality: Hyperactive, gets plenty of exercise. Enjoys swimming and chasing fish (and Azzie).
