The Dragons of New Rise Ravine

The dragons reside in a spacious cavern full of tents, ropes, pulleys, and sleeping mats. It’s a haphazard “town” cut into the middle of a perilous ravine, which is a two day travel end to end. People congregate in the cave for warmth and trade, and merchants frequent it. There are some permanent residents, most notably the Magi. A guild of skilled spell workers who established the cave to be a cultural safe haven for those oppressed by the Baldrook and Zurr kingdoms on either side of the pass. The Magi consists of dragons as well as humans— ferocious and battle ready, but infinitely scholarly and kind. They strive to master their magics and maintain peaceful semi-order in New Rise Cavern.
