Long before the worlds were created there were dragons. There were no roles to be filled, no obligations to be had, just jovial chatter and purposeless celebrations. Existence was simple, but to some, that wasn't enough. Some agreed and others disagreed. That was all it took for an argument to break out, and with that reality had wormed its way into the nonexistence. Something existed, and with something came sometime and someones. The agreement became physical, in every sense. The dragons were real, and so was their fighting. The others joined in, some attempting to break up the fight, others adding fuel to the fires. Blasts of magic spilled from maws, sprinkling their reality with stardust. From stardust they created life, and with that life, they found responsibilities. Those who started the fight agreed to take on the roles of the sun and moon, after all, they felt they were to blame. Some were appalled by the whole situation and found themselves fleeing into the stars wanting no bearing on the creatures that were created. The remaining dragons found themselves on the land below, with the creatures they had created. Those dragons, are the dragons you see here.

The nonexistent dragons went from 'Yay, party!' but then some of them said 'This is boring, I want something new.' Some of the nonexistent dragons were upset by this and then they fought. BOOM: Big Bang and now the dragons exist and they also have to take care of life, whoops! The dragons in the clan are the ones who decided to stay on earth for a more hands-on approach.
