The Lost Division of the Arcanist
LORE
At first, Electrosun and Nyx's Division was a group of dragons on a quest to find answers to the existential questions of the Arcane citizens. Electrosun had the more scientific and factual side of things while Nyx had the spiritual answers. Even if they were best of friends, their disagreements often ended up in war amongst the two.
Both philosophers were soon joined by Hafren, who they kindly call the Peacekeeper. A beautiful Skydancer who loved nothing more than his friends. He didn't want the two opposites to fight. He told himself he would always take parts in their debates, but he would always take the neutral position. He brought logic and peace between the two friends and established the calm environnement that is still amongst the Division to this date.
The trio then began exploring the unknown territories of the Arcanist. Getting their Division bigger and bigger as time passed. Having Hafren as the only Peace Keeper in the Division wasn't enough at this point. As they tried to find a solution, many options came to their minds.
Finding another Peace Keeper would be a hard task because the Division would always grow and the need for Peace Keepers would grow with it. Exiling the trouble makers could also be possible but it would cause even more discord in the Division as friends would be separated, Nyx didn't want to exclude anyone from their quest. Then Electrosun suggested something that seemed totally delirious.
"Why not divide the group? We are getting too big to have two dragons rule as one. What the Division needs is two rulers and their loyal Peace Keeper. You and me, Nyx. I say we both ask people to affiliate with the leader they associate with the most. Our dragons will get to choose their leaders."
Hafren was instantly agreeing with the scientist "I could accompany the dragons who aren't sure or simply want to keep both options open"
Nyx was sceptical about the idea at first but soon followed the two males in the new leadership.
And then, the two factions and the middle ground were born. Electrosun now commanded a small group of science driven and technology loving dragons with his mate and lieutenant Superbia. Nyx now directed a squad of spiritual but strong dragons who would protect the weak to their deaths. The Middle Ground was a zone in between the two that would benefit the healers, the students and the peaceful. It was run by Hafren who would take great joy in seeing young ones like Rey take the same path as him.
