The Light Blessed Valley

The Hatchlings of the Dawn is a young clan found in the Light Blessed Valley of the Sunbeam Ruins, founded by a pair of Guardian dragons more than a year ago. It is the Sister-clan to the Logos Phylai of the Starfall Isles, formerly of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and dragons often travel between the two, swapping stories and supplies, gossip and gifts.

The Hatchlings have recently found a High Matriarch worthy of watching over the Valley, a young Light Imperial of gentle compassion and deep wisdom. Before such a dragon was found, McCaffery and Paolini, the progenitors of the Hatchlings of the Dawn, watched over their dragonets and their clan-mates. They, along with Samarra from The Shifting Expanse, now patrol the borders to keep watch for encroaching members of the Beastclans, working without rest to keep their charges safe.

Other dragons amassed in the Lair over time, drawn both to the ever-present glow of the Lightweaver, and to the stalwart protection offered by the growing number of Guardian dragons, who often dedicate themselves to protecting those close to them. All dragons of the Valley require a minimal amount of combat experience so that they might better keep their small home safe.

Much of the Valley is filled with dragons who are simply passing through, mostly young dragonets who can barely wait to grow before they will go off to explore the world and forge paths of their own.
