JoeCarroll created his clan by bringing together dragons who felt out of place with others, giving them a home and a place to belong. Anyone is welcome, as long as they are willing to follow Joe's lead. The dragons there come from all over and many of them are creative souls, but there's an underlying air of strangeness and possibly a touch of darkness and insanity there.

Hmm. I tend to use a pretty organic approach to deciding colors and markings - I get a basic idea in my mind and then try to find something that wows me a little more than I'd have thought and go with that. You could try colors as personality indicators?
