Four is a good number (that's what I have, lol), and don"t worry too much about those bachelors, it's only your first week so you have plenty of time to find them matches, or try different matches, or eventually get rid of them xD

yes I suppose so.... although that may have been a recently added feature that I didnt have when I first joined. most of my funds come through familiars and selling hatchlings.... but ill give you one for free if you want it
