A young Fae had stumbled upon a lone, fiery female Mirror and after much negotiation, mostly on the Fae's part as the Mirror insisted on not needing him, and tense travels together, the two reconcile in each other in order to survive. Together, they had two hatchlings and decided to attempt establishing a clan in order to grow in numbers and protect their small, but weak family.
The Fae, Yu, and his mate, Niella, stumble upon a male Imperial, who claims to be Yomiho, and asks for his protection. At the time, the clan had no name or system and he took pity on the small family who's fate was clear had he not join to protect them. Yomiho agreed, coming from a decent lineage and had left in order to start a clan of his own. Together, Yu and Yomiho had recruited enough lone dragons in order to form a clan, Yomiho even finding a mate within Mios. When they felt they had a decent size and system in order, Yomiho had overthrown Yu and became the clan's leader, placing Merak as his right-hand man and Iskam as his advisor, finding the Fae to be too weak to lead a clan to success and prosperity.
Throughout the years, the clan has prospered well as the population slowly grows. So far, the dominating race is the Imperial as Yomiho recruits many, finding them to be the most honorable of species. The more Imperials there are, the more respectable their clan will garner from outsiders and visitors. Not only that but it pays tribute to his fathers and previous clan. Upon reaching adulthood, all Imperial males into the Outer Circle and assigning them to important roles while the other breeds are mostly assigned to Middle Circle duties. It's unfair in the sense that it impedes Middle Circle dragons from joining Outer Circle ranks but if they work hard enough and prove that they are strong enough, they do have a shot at moving up the hierarchy.
Yu felt utterly betrayed but decided against fighting the Imperial until he was strong enough to take it all back. So, he silently agrees, to his mate's dismay and anger, and he and his family are displaced in the Inner Most circle, to be protected. Though it is best for his family, Yu plans for a future uprising, talking a few dragons from the Middle Circle to join him.
The Hierarchy
The Circle is a clan that is ruled with a strict hierarchy. It is made up of three rings and each ring represents a dragon's role amongst the clan.
The Outer Most Circle
The strongest dragons, the clan's front line, the ones who bare the weight of the clan on their shoulders, who are born to die for their clan, who are the strongest and face death everyday as it they who protect and fight. The Leader, his mate, and his court are amongst these dragons and are considered the strongest ring of the clan.
The Middle Circle
The common dragons, the ones who cultivate the land, who allows the clan to thrive, who scavenges, hunt, digs, anything they must do in order to ensure the clan's future in terms of food, shelter, and training. They are not the weakest of dragons and are on call of duty when needed.
The Inner Most Circle
The precious dragons, the hatchlings who will train to one day protect or provide for their clan or the wisest of elders who can no longer fight. They are the precious of dragons amongst the clan but are also the weakest thus, they must be protected in order to ensure the future of the clan.
