In an unmarked area of the Starwood Strand, there lies a forest that not many have found. A place in the woods that seems to shift between the comfort of our realm and one just barely out of reach, pulsating with dark and chaotic magic than much of Sorneith has never seen the likes of before. The trees that should be glowing with bright purples and blues, shining like the stars that hang heavy overhead, shroud the place in an unnatural, everlasting darkness. The land seems to stretch on forever, dragons often getting caught in an endless loop of wandering until they acquire the help of a local. With the right guide, you might just be able to find areas that are completely unheard of for arcane territory; bioluminescent swamps that reek like the wyrmwound, or towering ancient structures that no one can quite recall the origin of. These lands are constantly being gripped by the deadly claws of war, and those who have the misfortune of stumbling upon it often find themselves caught up into something much, much bigger than what they bargained for. This is Melastrom. The birthplace of Chaos herself. Home of monstrosities you can only hope you'll never have the displeasure of meeting. I wish you the best of luck with your stay.
