GrumpyButch's Clan

A semi-isolated group tucked into one of the more difficult to reach areas of the Wind domain, this clan makes up a tightly-run and tight-knit dojo of sorts. The dragons here practice martial arts and train their bodies and minds to be at the height of their abilities.

Each dragon has their own reason for being here, and those who can't take the intensity and self-discipline necessary for this lifestyle are gently but firmly steered away from this lair.

All forms of fighting are accepted and learned, unarmed and armed fighting styles, combat magic, and any other combat skills are all encouraged.

Being part of the Wind Flight, every dragon here still shares a love of play and art, so many of the clan members are warrior-poets, dance-fighting is quite popular, and of course many of these dragons love to spin tales of glory on the battle field, with as many embellishments as they can get away with! Sparring is a common way to spend the time in this clan, and often doubles as entertainment, competitions and high contact sports are played frequently. Martial arts are a form of self expression as well, and can be utilized as a medium to tell stories. Singing, of course, is just as popular here as it is in every Wind clan.

Though these dragons train their martial skills extensively, war is highly frowned upon and much effort is given to keep peace with those around them. The clan leader is working to cultivate a strong alliance with local harpy clans, especially the with the powerful warrior harpies, which this clan seeks to learn from. They learn their arts for the love of the sport.

One of the clans closest and most unexpected relations is with a large plague clan. More than just an allegiance or trade partnership, these two peoples, despite the vast differences, are friends. The two clans are closely intertwined with each other, and many of those plague dragons have come to make up a large swath of this clan! (Raatteeth)
