There once was a Guardian dragon, who protected the massive tree, the Behemoth. The Guardian dragon would would stand vigilant day after day, night after night. Sometimes, he would eat the offerings that other Nature dragons would set on the Behemoth's roots. He viewed it as fair, since he was protecting what the thought was the Gladekeeper herself. He soon got bored of protecting only the Behemoth; he wanted to explore the rest of the Viridian Labyrinth. He did not eat any of the food before he left on his journey, as he was capable of hunting for himself. He wandered for days, nearly memorizing every tree, stream, plant, and blade of grass. The Guardian lost track of time in the large forest. During the time he was wandering, he noticed that there were small lairs, and large lairs, all of them containing dragons. He wanted to become part of one, as well. But he didn't want to join one; no, he wanted to create one, just as the forest had created him. He decided to start building a Lair in the Everbloom Gardens, a place full of flowers that he was sure would make any Nature dragon feel at home. He started building, and when he was finished, he could hear whisperings of the trees all around him. "Good luck, Protector of the Glades."
