In the beginning, there were stars. Angry balls of colourful light, beacons in the vast emptiness of the sky. They lit up the universe, although there was nothing yet to light. These stars stared out at the expanse of darkness everyday, waiting for life, for the existence, the presence of something. They spent their lifetimes doing so as was their sole purpose. Isolated for centuries, they were too far away from each other for comfort. This loneliness led them to desperate measures.


During a moment just as empty as all the others, a young star, that hadn't yet had its spirit broken, birthed an idea, an idea that would lead to the existence of life.
