The attack came swiftly and was unrelenting.
The clan of Reawakened Light had called the Mirrorlight Promenade their home for a long time before the attack. Argia, along with Draknoll, had welcomed any and all dragons that needed a home, developing a diverse, tight knit community of dragons from varying backgrounds. Many dragons born within the clans’ residence have stayed their entire lives, contributing to the duties of the clan.
But one day, everything changed.
What felt like an earthquake rumbled throughout the Sunbeam Ruins, growing stronger and stronger, almost as if something was approaching the Mirrorlight Promenade. This filled the dragons that resided within the area with dread, as it could only be a few different things causing this quake. Turns out that it was the worst possible scenario.
An emperor.
Bearing five heads of varying elements, the beast made its way through the Ruins, leaving destruction in its wake. The damage came quickly; flames seemingly erupted out of nowhere and the ground was churned up into uneven mounds of earth. The strongest dragons stayed behind to fight, while the rest left to seek shelter.
After the emperor had done its damage, the dragons that had survived the attack returned to the ruin that they called home. Many mourned, others were in denial, but a few saw this as a new start. While some dragons left to find new homes, few stayed and started to rebuild.
The clan of Reawakened Light will rise again.
