Honeycomb Glades
You find yourself bathed in rose-pink light. Under the sparkling crystalline peaks reaching like the great claws of the Arcanist himself into the sky, high enough that the stars shine like the individual bursts of crackling light magic, there lays a lair. It is not hidden by hillside nor ashen waste, dense forest nor ocean trench, no, it is respite for all travellers. It spreads out across acres of moon-touched glades of wildflowers.

Something bright purple catches your eye in the grass. A Fae dragon darts between your legs and flies in front of your face in a dizzying spiral. “Welcome traveller,” it says, in its monotone drawl, “we’ve been waiting.” It flicks its fins rapidly in what you can only hope is a smile. As quickly as it arrived, it darts back into the undergrowth, sending petals and white lace honeybees flying in its wake.

To stay for a while or to pass by? Your choice has been carved into the stars.
