Lore
Rot was a wanderer. She had no real memory of her childhood or parents. Every clan she happened across turned her away for one reason or another. The Scarred Wastelands were all she had ever known and all she would ever have; the lonely act of survival turned her reckless and mean.

Then, one day, she met another wanderer. Skull was quiet, but powerful. He didn’t turn her away. They began to wander together. Then they met Wiggle, an exile from the Ashfall Waste. And then they found an abandoned egg.

Rot wasn’t so lonely anymore; she and Skull and Wiggle would always have triplet aches in their chests from their rejections, over and over, but she felt a little less mean. She felt welcoming. The egg hatched into a little Pearlcatcher; they named her Rhinestone, and Rot swore she would never in her life feel lonely in this Wasteland of theirs.

this is my lore clan! (in-progress.) it has no big theme or aesthetic, except that all my dragons are travelers and exiles, or the descendants of such, come together into a new group.
