Astarot had fled from his former clan, not wanting to simply be sold off to an enemy. Unfortunately for the polite and shy little fellow, he met dragons on his way and they had stuck around. He was too timid to ask them to leave, and eventually they had become a clan.
Most of the dragons who joined either ran away from their original clan or simply left for adventure. Strange dragons, all of them, though all friendly once the circumstances were correct.
From acquaintance to friend, from friend to lover. Somehow they found themselves in a polyamorous relationship, in which sealed the deal of being a clan.
They were a gang of misfits, a family.
Though, with Astarot's shady past, who knows how long they'll be able to keep that?
