I couldn't figure out crochet for the life of me either for about 10 years, but then it just clicked one day. At least, started to.
They say crochet is faster than knitting, though, so your way might be the winning way!

And yeah, WIPs tend to appear out of thin air sometimes, I swear. So I totally hear you there.

I saw the word "crochet" in your post in Light hub and was instantly like "this is my kind of person!" (and I saw that you're open to ineractions in your FAQ) so here goes :)
I used to mainly knit but starting to venture out into crochet via amigurumi. Already eyeing some shawls though, so I doubt I'll stick strictly to ami territory. :D
I would love to exchange fiber arts experiences and photos if you're up for it.

And I love your lair! Oakleaf and Nicotiana are especially magical from what I've seen so far.
