Dobharchu's Clan

Dobharchu the otter-like mosasaur awaken from the depths of my lair in the Queen's land of the marsupial mega island known as Australia. My favorite dragon type is the fae and my elemental practice is air even though I am a creature of the sea. This is because, like the Penguin, I the sentient Dobharchu, wish I could fly with my flippers rather then flop about on land until I slide back into the blue.

Peridot was my first dragon and she was given to me already fully matured. Me and her at first did not meet an understanding for one another and she prefered to hang with the rest of the fae. Immediately she took to the fancy of a tribal fae dragon named Tourmaline and laid two eggs.

During her time of rest I left her be and attempted communication with Tourmaline. Usually dragons either have there own language or only humans can understand them. I had no knowledge of the Human languages at this point but since we are both animals I thought I could speak the voice of the wind and he would understand. Somehow it worked, he must also be a creature from the lesser lair of the Zephyr Steppes.

When Peridot woke she had acquired a more friendlier side towards me, she must have overheard me having a conversation with Tourmaline, her now betroved. I could also communicate with Peridot and she taught me the language of the humans. For some reason, even though her betroved is a tribesman, Peridot prefers the study of industrial human culture and covers herself in coper armourments matching her natural colouration.

Via a message from a higher authority, I and my clan acquired the first befriending of a familiar. A Red-Footed Akirbeak of which I gifted to Peridot so that she can further a stronger trust with me in hope that someday we could be friends. I don't know what her problem is, I thinks its mainly that she dislikes my longing for flight whilst she cannot swim.

In no time at all Peridot and Tourmaline had become grandparents when their crazed over emotional daughter got pregnant via crossbreeding while she was only a teen. The outcome of this pregnancy was three sickly eggs. One went bad and died whereas the other two survived with unique characteristics. Both boys, Adrian and Gray were rather lucky children from that point on. Both acquiring a familiar while only children not even teens.
