Welcome to the Shifting Briars!
• Any hatchlings from lore dragons unless written in lore are not canonical. • I do exalt dragons, so if I buy a dragon and it's in my HibDen tab "Fodder" or the sales tab and you'd like them back, feel free to send me a pm with however much I paid for them and you can have them back. • I'm always in search of imps of 31.96M! • Below you'll find my clans lore! |
Thickets of briars and thorned vines protect and defend the swamp that lays ahead. A river feeds into the swamp, moving slowly throughout the territory and edges expanded to become the swamps and bogs. The plant life seems to shift and twist if you stare too long, as if it's alive and keeping a watchful eye on what is trying to pass through. Beyond and throughout the swamp there are massive trees that seem to get denser the further you look in, and the vines only more wild. Stranglers look to have made their home within the vegetation if you can spot them.
If one is brave enough to continue despite the terrain, the plant and wildlife will keep them back. Whether thick vines ensnaring wanderers or kelpies to drag them into the murky waters, trespassers are not welcome. Only a select few, those with kind intentions or those running from something worse than the swamp, are allowed safe entry. If a dragon happens to make it inside, they would find that the wetlands and tangled thickets eventually fade to green grass and the same towering trees. Along that first river, in the heart of the swamp, is the meadow that the clan of the Shifting Briars calls home.
The dragons within these woods are secretive and don't take kindly to strangers invading their home; most of them found refuge in the briars after their old clans were destroyed or they were chased out. However, they're willing to listen and often times those were allowed in by their homes defenses are allowed to stay, welcomed into their new family.

Also I saw how old he was and thought he looked familiar, turns out he was related to a breeding pair I used to have! Small dragon world!
