Clan Info
Welcome to Girithdihar, home to some of the greatest stealth fliers of the Lightning flight.
Their lair lies in a cave on the wall of the Carrion Canyon, camouflaged by clever curtains of dead grass and reeds. Two guards are on constant watch from behind the screen, ordered to alert the clan to any suspicious or incoming figures. After all, dragons can't fly stealth missions into other flights to spy without raising a few enemies.
Their insignia is a dragonbane flower. A banner of it made with scales of past opponents hangs in the main cavern.

CLAN HIERARCHY
---
Ceannaire
Tradition among this clan states that whoever holds the cennaire, or pearl necklace, is regarded as chief. It is currently being worn by Vitreus an Iontach.
---
Ceannaire
---
Comhairleoir
The wearer of the miotail ór, or gold necklace, is the chief adviser to the cennaire, often regarded as a second-in-command or deputy. The current appointed comhairleoir is Athraithe muintir Criostail.
Comhairleoir
---
Mionlach
The head of the ordlathas, they control the entirety of the elite hierarchy of the clan. The position is designated by a copper and emerald choke, which is clasped about the neck of Athas inion Iontach.
Mionlach
---
Cennasai
Show by the ornate iron collar, this dragon is the commander of the clan's battle forces, a position currently belonging to Navaen an Trodaire.
Cennasai
---
Taidhleoir
The head diplomat of the Girithdihar clan who is in charge of political relations with surrounding tribes. The ornate dark steel is worn by Albasc na Cliste.

The above are the five main positions of power amongst the dragons of Girithdihar. A few things to keep in mind about this clan:
-Any dragon at any time may challenge the current Ceannaire to a duel for leadership. How far the battle goes depends on the participants and their willingness to yield or give mercy.
-Leaders of individual groups are referred to as ceanns; each of the above listed dragons are each a ceann in their designated unit.
-The ordlathas are essentially the upper-class of the clan, those whose family have been in it for generations or those who have worked their way up the social ladder (basically, nobles). The mionlach keeps them in check.
-While only the designated leaders may wear 'ornate' necklaces as a mark of position, their subordinates have a similar system. For instance, if you see a dragon wearing a simple collar or cuffs (not ornate), then that means they are under the command of the corresponding ceann. (Example: a fae is wearing a simple copper collar; that means that they are part of the ordlathas under the Mionlach)
-Apparel shown shows inter-unit hierarchy. You now know that only ceanns may wear ornate, but there is a ranking under them as well. If the dragon is wearing both simple cuffs and a collar, they are a high-ranking associate under the ceann; only wearing a necklace designates mid-ranking; only cuffs show the lowest ranking among the unit, usually designating an apprentice or trainee.
Hi, I'm Shadowstalker. You might also know me as Shadeforest or Quies, but everyone calls me Shad.
You might have noticed my dragons have some foreign-looking names. That's because they're Irish! I myself am American, but the Irish culture fascinates me. Most dragons have an English translation of the names in their summaries if you're curious.
TITLE - "Sometimes the law is found in the lawless." -Beyonders [Brandon Mull]
