Beekeeper's Clan

The Sanctuary is a clan with humble beginnings, founded by a little fae named Brookleaf and her mate Sootspine. Living in the woods together, they tended to wounded birds and other wildlife. Over time, more and more dragons that passed through decided to stay in this peaceful forest lair, either to assist in caring for the wildlife that the clan founders were so devoted to, or to simply enjoy the community that was building around them. Dragons from every flight were welcome, so long as they could peacefully coexist (and for meat-eaters, promise to never prey on patients, or birds, which Brookleaf and Sootspine had a special fondness for).

As the clan grew and grew, so did their refuge. More and more animals were able to be looked after and rehabilitated, and many, especially birds, were learning to gather around the lair as a place of safety (a trend happily encouraged by the clan founders, who enjoyed their company and loved each and every one). The lair was also able to accommodate more travelers, as a safe place to rest on journeys through the forest.

Eventually the clan and its ever-growing collection of (mostly avian) charges realized that if they were to continue to expand, they would need to move. Permission to relocate to the Behemoth itself was easily granted, and the clan's current lair took its shape.

The Sanctuary, now more spacious than ever, is still serving its original purpose: to be a place of peaceful refuge for residents, wildlife, and travelers alike. Visitors will find it an immense, diverse community...constantly surrounded by thousands of birds.

Hey, I'm Beeky. I'm really into birds and a few other things, like a couple fandoms (not that I'm really active in any). Mostly I'm into birds and birdwatching.

I like talking to people and try to be extremely friendly, but I have pretty bad problems with anxiety and depression, so I'm super sorry if I'm kinda awkward sometimes or don't have the energy to respond right away.

Apparel: Guises, Finely Crafted Lute, various other apparel I can't think of...really any apparel. I still need to come up with outfits for most of my dragons, so I don't know what I'll end up needing! I've already got most NotN and Baldwin stuff though, as well as festival stuff from the last couple years.
