If I bought your dragon off the Auction House, and it does NOT have a familiar attached to them within five or so minutes, I'm exalting them. If you catch me before I finish training them, you can buy them off of me again.

I keep dragons I bought off of the "Dragons for Sale" forum for at least a few months. I'll resell them if I no longer have the room for them.

Dragons under "The Unlabeled" might be up for sell. Ask me first.

I tend to change the breeds of dragons that come into my lair to either Coatl, Fae, or Guardian. There are exceptions, just know that if I bought a dragon off of you, I will probably change it's breed.

Currently working on fleshing out lore. It's all a work in progress!

-Familiars that are important to a dragon's backstory are with that dragon permanently. Otherwise, the familiar is probably just there as a placeholder.

-Dragons who have some bio information, but not a completed description, will have the information split into two categories: Bio and Relationships. Bio Notes refer to notes on the dragon themself, what they do, who they work with to accomplish their goals, what they're personalities are like, etc. Relationship Notes refers to how they interact with other dragons, who they like, dislike, etc.

-In my version of Sornieth, it is common for clans to have a Flight Representative, or an Elemental Sage. These Sages are responsible for leading the clan and acting as the spokesperson for the dragons of that element in the clan. Additionally, they are responsible for either helping, or assigning another dragon to help, a new member from another clan integrate into whatever clan the sage is a part of. That sage will be of the element/Flight that the new member was a part of.

-Larger clans' representative will have people working under them. This way, they can get their responsibilities done smoother.

-Larger clans will usually have at least one dragon responsible for outside communication and mail delivery.

-Familiars who are sentient, such as those from the Beast Clans, the Sprites, or the Acolytes, are given the same rights as dragons. However, they are often coddled by the dragon who considers them their familiar, like a parent to an older child. A familiar is considered more of a pet if it's a more animalistic familiar, such as Podids and Owlcats.

-A myth exists that explains how the Flamecaller lost her feathers. It is set before the second generation of deities came to be. The legend goes that when the world was new, the Flamecaller was covered in feathers that could repel the strongest of flames. Additionally, they were gorgeous to see, and the combination of their power and beauty made her very vain. The Tidelord, wanting to damage her pride for a previous insult, challenged her by stating that while she could withstand the heat of the Earth's blood, she would never be the true master of fire since she can't control the sun. Being young at the time, and not recognizing the taunt for what it was, she spat back saying that she could control all forms of flame and would prove it by flying to the sun and putting some of its power into the lava below. She took to the air, passing by the Windsinger and Earthshaker, going higher, and higher, and higher than any of the four before. However, so set was she on her goal of reaching the sun, that she failed to see the damage the journey was having on her feathers. While they were immune to the effects of fire, they were vulnerable to the effects of cold, so when she finally reached the sun, all of her feathers had been frozen off by the frigid air. She did not notice until she reached out and took a piece of the sun, as it burned her claws when she touched it. Surprised, she dropped the piece, which fell down, and down, and down, striking the planet with such great force that it buried itself into the lava under the surface. Horrified at the loss of her feathers, she quickly returned to the planet to see if she could find what remained of them. But the few she could retrieve were to damaged to be healed, and the rest were lost forever. She had succeeded in placing a piece of the sun into her fire, but it came at a price she mourned for years to come. Supposedly, she gave Coatls feathers as tribute to the feathers she had lost that day.

-Subspecies of dragons do exist. Currently, this clan contains the following:

Coastal Coatls-Example is Aelita, on page 1: Coastal Coatls are native to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Typically staying along the coast, the water magic has warped their wings to be more suited for gliding and swimming than true flying. Additionally, the feathers are naturally water-repellent, allowing them to float on the surface of the water. These dragons often hunt by jumping into the water from rocks or cliffs, and then will eat while floating among the waves. Similar to dolphins, Coastal Coatls rely more on shrill noises and clicking for their shared language than their standard cousins, who use humming. They were the ones to invent the food known as 'Sushi'. Note: Coastal Coatls are only a subspecies in MY lore. No where else as far as I'm aware.
