Disease. Not a pleasant thing. The word's etymology is literally without ease. If you catch a disease, you will literally be without ease.

Unfortunately, everyone including the waring nature and plague gods, don't fully grasp the function of it. Disease is a necessary part of nature. It helps weaken prey creatures to make it easier for predators to catch and eat them and on the subject of death, it's needed; everything needs to pass on eventually. That's the lesson a lot of non-plague dragons forget. The plague dragons seem to forget there doesn't need to be a mass plague popping up every other month.

This clan only makes a new disease once every 5 or so years because of this. Part of the reason is people like to go out and see what's needed where. Exalted members exalt more to see what's going on in the plague sphere, while everyone who stays takes the info they send back, and adjusts the disease. Plague dragons are the only ones who test the diseases cause they're the most likely to survive. Everyone else just takes care of the other things the clan needs like gathering supplies, raising money, and familiar bonding with Fiona, or go out and try and get info on what's going on in other parts of the world.
