On the border between Arcane and Ice lies THE PLEIADES STRAND, a clan ruled by a council called the Seven Sisters. Each of the Seven has a specific title and role. When a member dies, retires, or fails to perform her duty, the remaining council members elects a new Sister from the clan's ranks.
