Once upon a time, Treize made a deal.
Ethan, Kay, and Fenna return from Luminax's Wake, but they're not home long before the entire clan is swept away to a glittering golden city.
Treize and her three children find themselves in the presence of a deity, whom Treize knows only too well. The rest of the Sundrop clan are scattered throughout a vast, unfamiliar city, left to figure out where they are and what has happened. But they soon find they aren't the only inhabitants of this strange new world...
