Heofanfyr fled the realm of the Stormcatcher to establish his own clan. Instead, he wound up finding a hoard in a clan of Skydancers on a small island northeast of the Sunbeam Ruins. With their blessing, and without interfering in their affairs, he watches over them, protects them, and cares for them, and they look after him in turn. He is a beloved Guardian with a listening ear and a helpful wing.

The Hoarde is ruled in practice by the Thunorgemot, a council of five representatives, one from each of the five Subclans - Skytread, Sparkspit, Icecrest, Toothsnap, and Cloudswell - who only begrudgingly pay their tithe of soldiers to the Lightweaver. Heofanfyr is saddened by each one who leaves, and he would rather they didn't have to fight at all. Even after they're gone, they are His, and he will defend them to his last breath.
