Yeahhhhhh. You just unlocked a terrible memory of mine, when a professor of mine was lecturing about pseudoarchaeology and some guy in the back had the audacity to ask if aliens built the pyramids around the world. I need to quickly emphasize that this professor specialized in Mayan archaeology. I swear, I believed the poor professor's soul escaped his body for a moment in shock before he replied. Hate how a lot of otherwise-good sci-fi franchises center on ancient aliens. Imagine how interesting a non-pseudoarchaeology sci-fi game could be!
Ice age animals mostly falls under paleontology but there's some blurry spots, like mammoth bones with signs of tool usage, or this one heron that might've been worshipped in Old Kingdom Egypt.
Now that I think of it... I wonder if dinosaur bones for historical medicinal or luxury use fall under paleo or archaeo

I saw your mention of hollow earth and Atlantis + ancient aliens nonsense and as someone indirectly in the archaeo sphere with a lot of archaeo friends, I groaned thinking about it. Hoping the Nature Ancients don't go for that vibe!
