The darkness feels almost oppressive, massive trees loom over the clearing, blocking out the view of the sky and any light the moon and stars might have brought, leaving only the light of the small, glowing mushrooms that litter the bases of the trees, their faint luminescence barely enough to see by. The shadows seem to move, peeling away from the rest and taking the forms of a multitude of dragons, large and small, all shades of black and grey, as they emerge from their dens made of fallen logs and boulders. A single red and black mirror lunges to the front, the pale blue light bouncing off the bird-like skull and feathers adorning his head as he snaps his jaws and lets out a low growl, an obvious warning to back off. Just as he seems ready to pounce, a massive guardian slips out of the shadows, her massive form dwarfing the mirror, who glances up at her before backing off, his form melting back into the darkness. The guardian lifts her head, proud and regal, as she speaks, her voice calm, but laced with a promise of violence.

“You are trespassing on Skugga Clan land. State your business or turn and leave immediately, or we will be forced to remove you ourselves.”
