News:
[As recorded by the clan's scribe, Keyx]

(06/3/2015)No sign of any leaders. A lot of dragons are discussing moving on. We can't sit around and wait for them. I've been thinking about everything a lot recently. There's a lot of under currents of irritation between species. But out previous leaders were two faes. The other species din't have much voice so to speak. There is talk of joint leadership now. A dragon from every species in the clan. Certainly an interesting idea.

The hatchlings are doing well, and have grown well. One bears a striking resemblance to his older brother.

(05/31/2015)Everyone is still pretty shaken, although some hide it better than others. There's no leaders yet, but that's hardly surprising. The main concern for now is food. We destroyed everything, since we weren't sure what had been tainted.

We will need some sort of leader soon though. On the bright side, we are slowly rebuilding. Four hatchlings joined our clan, quadruplets. SharknadoTwo decided to name them Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. Odd names...
Hesperus and Aurora eggs will hatch tomorrow most likely, as will Kishar and Stormcry.

(05/28/2015)Dovev, Cambrie, Easter and Emyr are still missing. The clan has no leader.
If it can still be called a clan. Over half of our dragons, my friends, are gone. The remaining ones are injured and weak and still recovering from what Fractal did.
There is so little left. How can we hope to rebuild? At least in the past, there were still dragons. The leaders were still here. But now... I don't know.
Kishar and Stormcry are expecting and hatchlings, and Hesperus and Aurora are expecting hatchlings as well. But what sort of clan will they be growing up in?

(05/27/2015){Bloody claw marks and drops of blood stain this page}He's dead. I barely remember it, killing Fractal. But his blood covers me. I remember a battle, and Fractal, losing. I finally have revenge. The blood trail leads away from our territory, but he will not live long with his wounds.

I have no memory of the past two days. Nor does any other dragon. No memory of where over half the clan went. They're just... gone.
I do not know what to do. The helmet, it seems... silent. Normal.

(05/24/2015)Dragons started disappearing. Bryn and Andromeda are gone. Apricot as well. And I know its Fractal. Bryn I recall for certain being bitter and hating Fractal. Lately he has become more vocal, muttering of his hatred towards the Ridgeback. And Andromeda I tried to give a note about what was going on.
But the worse was when Hesperus tried to stand up for Bryn, after Fractal called him traitor.
Fractal attacked Hesperus, and injured him badly. I won't stand for this any longer. I won't stand by and watch my clan be torn apart! No matter what it takes, I'm going to stop Fractal.

(05/23/2015)I hate Fractal. He's ripping this clan apart with his lies and poisons. He's turning us against each other and its harder than ever to stop myself from agreeing with him. I wish I was stronger. Strong enough to kill him. To stop this, before he destroys this entire clan.
This is awful. I just want it to stop. I want to back to before everything. Before fractal, before Cinder found that Shadow helmet, before Megatron. Back when everything was just good. Dragons weren't killing each other, we could eat freely, the other species didn't call themselves superior. I want to go back.

(05/22/2015)I tried to tell Tempest what Fractal was doing but then, barely a couple hours later, Tempest vanished Fractal called a meeting. He spun some wild story about how Tempest was stealing food and was being punished. of course, everyone believed it.
After the meeting, Fractal came and 'visited' me. He told me that if I continued to spread lies about him, that it would not turn out well.
At least he hasn't found my writings...

(05/20/2015)I don't know what to write. I found a note, this morning. No idea where it came from. But... its says that Fractal has been poisoning the food supply. That from the moment he joined this clan, his intent was to tear it apart and rebuild, with him as leader. This can't be true yet...
The details of the note. They explain everything. The initial fights between different species were either caused by Fractal himself, or by work of poisons. Poisons that made the other dragons aggressive and hostile.
And after Fractal declared himself leader, he used poison to slowly make everyone more compliant. Once he was leader, he could easily poison the food we all ate. Which would explain his instance upon controlling the food.
I don't want to believe. Yet... I remember times that I did not eat as usual, or I would eat while I was hunting. I felt so odd. It had to be the poisons wearing off.
If all this is somehow true, what am I supposed to do? There's only a few Coatls in the clan, and I doubt any other dragons will listen. Besides, Fractal watches them too closely. I have to do something.

(05/18/2015)Last night I thought I saw two shadowy dragons poking around the food stores. It looked like two wildclaws, but I'm not sure. Perhaps it was Myst and Erious? That doesn't make sense though.
In other news, the clan seems to be growing more uneasy. It's hard to put my clan on, but everyone seems oddly tense.

(05/15/2015)Lately, Fractal has been looking extremely frustrated. I see him around the food storage a lot, and he's always muttering to himself. Not only is Fractal acting odd, but so are the other dragons of the clan. Before, it seemed most dragons were adjusted to the way things are now. But some have started to question it. It's mostly in whispers, but its still very odd.
And lately, I've begun to feel... differently about things. It's hard to explain, but sometimes, I catch myself wondering for a few brief moments, if Fractal's way is truly the best. Sometimes, it even seems as if everyone almost mindlessly obeys him. Of course, that can't be true. Fractal has the clans best interests in mind.

(05/10/2015)Today I was out hunting late at night, since I couldn't sleep, and I noticed Fractal by the clans food supply. When I flew closer, he jumped and looked startled. Almost as if he had been doing something wrong. I can't imagine why. He's supposed to be in charge of the food after all.

Myst and Erious have been around less and less. I still see the periodically, but they stick to the shadows so much, and never speak. They even vanished for three days straight, as far as I could tell. Those two are very strange. Very... whats the word... mysterious.

(05/02/2015)Havoc's hatchlings, Astrology, Gladiator and Tranquility, have vanished. Something feels very wrong here, but I can't put my claw on it. Fractal says that it is for the best, since they were upsetting the way things needed to be, and because they were endangering the clan. He must know what is best.

(04/29/2015)Havoc three hatchlings have been exceptionally disruptive. The older they grow, the more they get into arguments and fights about the "Order'. Don't they see what they are causing? I hope they come to their senses.

(04/26/2015)Nocturne and Enigma claimed Havoc's hatchlings as their own, saving them from being doomed in the wilderness. It was brave, I suppose. I don't agree with Fractal on this. Cross species dragons are hardly an issue.
Hesperus and Aurora's egg hatched. A very handsome male coatl.

(04/20/2015)Precious little of importance has happened until now. Cambrie and Dovev are still imprisoned, but I cannot bring myself to care or worry. I find myself quite tired inside.
Just recently however, Havoc the Nocturne and Pwyll the Wildclaw came to expect a nest. Normally, news of a nest is cause for celebration, but it was only yesterday that Fractal announced a strict rule regarding interspecies breeding. He decreed that inferior and superior species should not mix. That it would weaken the clan, and any dragons found in possession of an egg that was not 'pure', the eggs would be left in the wilderness.

So far, only me and a couple other dragons know of Havoc's three eggs. Pwyll has hidden them in a secret cave. I fear they cannot remain secret for long. I want to tell Fractal, yet... I am oddly conflicted. It has worried me to such an extent that I have lost my appetite. I feel... strange. Perhaps I am developing a sickness. I may go and see Xerxes.

(04/11/2015)Cambrie and Dovev returned early this morning. Fractal was waiting to greet them. Emyr stood with him, along with the other leaders they appointed. Then Fractal called a meeting.

Cambrie and Dovev looked shocked but followed Fractal. Everyone gathered around Cambrie and Dovev, and Cambrie demanded to know what was going on.

Then Fractal presented his case, so to speak. He spoke of how strength and superiority had saved the clan, and how only the strong could rule. As I suspected, neither Dovev nor Cambrie were happy.

Fractal welcomed them to challenge him, and Dovev charged him. Fractal reacted far quicker than anyone expected, and struck Dovev down, knocking him out.

Cambrie however... she was far more tactical. She went at Fractal with everything she had. Claws, teeth magic... The fight dragged out for so long. And every time Cambrie would get knocked down, she would get up and fight again. She got a lot of solid hits on him as well, but it wasn't enough.

I wish Cambrie could understand. The way it is is for the best. Finally, he managed to restrain Cambrie, and had her and Dovev locked in one of the caves. He explained that if they could not work with the others Faes and accept the new order, it would cause problems.

Hopefully they come to their senses soon.

(04/10/2015)Hesperus told me that he was writing updates or whatever. My claw is healed, so can finally write again.

Something happened a few days ago. We were attacked by some rogue dragon trying to steal prey and territory. But our clan fought them off. After the battle, we celebrated, and Fractal spoke of how such a decisive victory only happened because the the superior and stronger species were in charge.

I suspect Dovev and Cambrie will return very soon, perhaps tomorrow. I wonder whats going to happen when they come back. Nothing good. I fear Cambrie especially will not understand. Fractal is helping our clan so much. But I am worried they won't understand the new way.

Everyone has come to realize the good Fractal has done. If he had not come to our clan, we might have died. Many more could have been injured in the rogue attack.

(04/03/2015)Almost everyone is fully recovered. Keyx left foreclaw was injured, so he is unable to write yet, but he recovered from the sickness. Fractal announced that everyone was recovering, and praised their strength. Food has been in good supply later. Although the lands are hardly teeming with prey, there is enough to go around.

Many thanks to Fractal's intelligence, our rations will last. A few dragons still grumble about The Order, but I am sure they will understand soon. It may be a hard truth to see at first, as Fractal says, but soon every dragon will come to understand. Some dragons are meant to be superior. Some dragons are simply inferior. What Fractal has done for us ensures our future. It is simple, and I am glad Fractal came here. It is almost as if he is a gift from the Windsinger.

(03/31/2015)Today, Fractal made a hunting party go look for new hunting grounds. They came back with good news, that they have found an area ripe with prey. He sent out more hunting parties, and everything was brought to Fractal's personal caves, where he rationed it out, saying that until this food shortage was over for good, they needed to ration the stocks for the time being.

I think I see what Fractal means. For the survival of the entire clan, and for order to remain, we must be able to trust in the strength of those in charge. We could not possibly follow a weaker dragon into battle. With the strongest and most superior species leading us, our clan will be able to survive.

If Fractal had been here a long time ago, then he could have showed us this way. A better way. Perhaps we wouldn't have lost to Megatron. Still, I am starting to appreciate what Fractal has done.

(03/30/2015)Keyx still recovers. He developed an infection or some sort of sickness. No doubt because Xerxes sustained injuries and Pestilence has had her hands full. And of course, The Order demands that the strongest be attended to first.

Fractal frequently walks among the dragons, so to speak, and has been speaking to everyone. Despite being the self proclaimed leader, by force no less, he has done his share. He brings food to many dragons. Of course, he gives it to the strongest first, and he is in charge of dishing it out. It seems the food shortage is lessening perhaps, but it is hard to tell yet.

The other dragons are no longer aggressive. They seem far more lax and weary of heart. Even the dragons lower on The Order are curiously compliant. It is as if they have simply accepted the way it is now. There was such chaos for a brief time after Fractal made his announcement, but everyone has changed their views it seems. He talks greatly of how he refuses to let this clan die. He even explained how he visited other clans and tried to save them. By all appearances, he truly cares.

For now, all that can be done is accept it.

(03/27/2015)It is I, Hesperus. For now, I will be recording news while Keyx recovers. Fractal has spoken. He says that the food problems and the way clan order broke down proves... proves that the strongest dragons must rule. At first everyone was furious, but then he began to talk. He talked of how sickness infected Cragleaper's hatchlings, and how one could not expect a dragon to lead if he could not defend his own clan properly. He spoke of how Wildclaws lived in a similar manner. That strength makes a difference, for weaker dragons died from hunger, or in fights, or of sickness. That if weaker dragons or even dragon species were leaders, then they might die easily, or be killed in battle. And how, if this clan wanted to survive, they would need powerful dragons as leaders, and powerful species giving orders. He talked then about how he saw his own clan fall apart.

How their leaders died and order slowly dissolved. How sickness overtook the weaker dragons, and many died in the wilds. Those that did not suffered from hunger. Then he claimed that he would not let such a fate befall our clan. And then... After much talking, in which he swayed the dragons to his belief, he said that as the strongest, he would claim leadership. Only a few moments after he declared leadership, he declared species order, as dictated by the fights a few days ago. They are as follows.

Ridgebacks
Guardians
Wildclaws
Imperials
Nocturnes
Spirals
Fae
Coatls
Mirrors
Skydancers
Pearlcatcher
Tundras

Those that are at the bottom are expected to do extra to keep up with the superior dragons, and are considered lesser. If they cannot hold their worth, then they are weak. Fractal says this is to make the lesser dragons stronger. He also says the orders of a stronger or superior species takes precedence over an inferior species. They must serve, and prove their worth. Naturally, not everyone agrees, but Fractal says that if they can prove their strength, he would be happy to allow them to prove superiority, or even take over leadership.
I cannot write more for now. I will write again sometime soon.

(03/26/2015)I am writing on behalf of Keyx. I'm Hesperus by the way. Apparently he has mentioned me in his writings before.
The fights happened two days ago, but I have only just now had the opportunity to write this.
I must say, I wanted very badly for Keyx to succeed. Some of the other Tundra's, not just Quadrille, look down on Coatl's a little.
It... I'm not sure what to say. First, each of the species tried to elect a representative, and Bryn and Stormcry were forced to participate as well, mostly because of other dragons. Emyr was going to fight for The Ridgebacks, but Amynta disagreed. She claimed she would fight, much to the extreme displeasure of Azinnoth and Emyr. Naturally, Keyx fought for the Coatls. I won't recount everything but... It was truly a horrible thing.
At first, there was some sort of organization but somehow it quickly dissolved. All the dragons were hyper-aggressive and it almost became a free for all. In the end, everyone was badly injured, some worse than others. By some twist of fate, Amynta won but... Fractal quickly challenged her and beat her, and Emyr. He was injured but his fighting skills are far better than anyone anticipated. Right now, everyone is recovering, but Fractal alone promises to speak soon, about what will happen in the clan. Emyr is too badly hurt to know what Fractal is doing, and Azinnoth is quite busy.
I am eager to know what Fractal will say, although I am quite fearful.
Keyx is recovering. I suppose that one positive note is that he did beat Quadrille.

(03/23/2015)I ought to apologize for my outburst, but the way I see Tundra's act sometimes infuriates me. Quadrille loves antagonizing others. She said something awful to Hesperus that upset him horribly yesterday. Our "leaders" reprimanded her harshly, but I don't think it matters. She's just a jerk.

The battle will happen tomorrow. For Hesperus sake, Aurora and I have agreed to do whatever it takes to prove ourselves.

(03/22/2015)I can't believe the nerve of some of the other species! I'm furious. Tundras are disgusting plants eaters and I'll show them up.
I'll do what it takes to prove that Coatls are every bit as good as other species, if not better.
I'm sick of comments from Tundra's like Quadrille about Coatl family systems or from other species about being feathered freaks.
Hesperus and Aurora and I will show them!
Fractal has convinced Azinnoth, Blodwen and Emyr that these tournaments should be held, since everyone would fight anyway.
They're trying to work out the rules right now.
I for one, can't wait to pummel some Tundra's. Especially Quadrille. I don't care for the rest of this nonsense but if it means putting Tundra's in their place, I'm in.

(03/21/2015)Things have gotten worse... Because of all the disagreements, Nives started up the idea of having contests to prove that Guardians are the best fighters. Now all the other species are clamoring for a fight, demanding a chance to prove superiority. It's unnatural, the way everyone is. The lack of food is getting to everyone.

I'm still angry about Quadrille...

On a sort of good note, Fractal, NatashaV and Amynta have been able to hunt some seafood. Fractal managed to catch some seafood for the other Coatls too.

(03/20/2015)I am honestly very upset by everything. The food problem hasn't gotten any better, and everyone is still furious. I don't know that everyone is on board with the species separation, but since a few dragons from each species started it, now everyone sided with their own kind. Now the animosity has grown.

Each species has started demanding that they are better hunters or fighters or whatnot. Then Quadrille insisted that Tundra's can hunt better than Coatl's. And she acts so superior! Especially around Hesperus. I'm sure she does it because she knows it bothers Hesperus. I thinks he has something against Coatls, or she likes making other dragons angry.

(03/19/2015)Something terrible happened. For the first time in awhile, many dragons went somewhat hungry. Of course, this led to a fight, but it wasn't just physical. Many dragons were accusing other species of being weaker, or that they were superior, either in hunting or fighting or whatnot.

There is a divide among the species now, I don't exactly share the idea that Coatls are superior but... Aurora and Hesperus are convinced that some dragons just aren't as strong as we are.

(03/18/2015)Cambrie and Dovev left yesterday. Things were peaceful for a time. But with the food problem still continuing, tensions are only growing. Today there was even less food than yesterday. Many dragons, including myself, are still hungry. There haven't been any serious fights, but there have been scuffles.

Azinnoth, Fractal, Blodwen and Emyr have been busy breaking up fights before they escalate.

(03/16/2015)I'm going to start with good news. Hatchlings were born today!! As next week is the Mistral festival, the young ones may actually move on and honor the Windsinger, but I don't know for sure yet.

Now for other news. Cambrie and Dovev have decided to take a trip, search out hunting ground, and possible territory to move to, as well as attend to some other business apparently. They held a meeting to announce this, then said that joint temporary leadership would be held by four dragons. Azinnoth, Emyr, Blodwen and, surprisingly, Fractal. I think it is because Fractal is very good with other dragons, and they all listen to him. I am happy for him.

At first, he said he wanted to decline, but Cambrie insisted. They will leave tomorrow.

(03/14/2015)Today fights broke out among many clanmates, and I fought with Phrixos. Everyone is very on edge over these food problems. I am rather ashamed of my actions.

What bothers me is what sparked a fight between Ro and Nightfall. Ro was accusing Tundra's of not doing their share, and being weak plant eaters. The Tundra's were livid, and Stormcry is furious as well. I think it is because he is upset with his sort of adopted father.

Fractal has also proven to be a very skillful hunter, and sometimes brings in extra seafood for Hesperus and the other Coatl's. Still, this food issue isn't good. I hope this does not continue.

(03/12/2015)Food is steadily harder to find, and takes more effort. EVeryone is still able to have food, but now there are no leftovers. Cambrie and Dovev have been having quite a few meetings, mostly with Emyr and Xerxes and Azinnoth, but one time I saw Fractal go and speak.

On a happy note, Aurora and Echo are expecting eggs, and so are Enigma and Solstice! I am very happy for them.

(03/11/2015) Something very odd happened today... For the first time I can remember food was scarce. We all ate, but not every dragon was completely full, and there wasn't much leftovers.
Everyone was a bit snappish today too.

Even I got upset with Skyfall. I apologized though, so its no biggie. I have to admit though, I am a bit worried about the food. Fractal seemed concerned. I share his concern honestly. Something feels a little off...

(03/10/2015)A new dragon joined our clan today! He is a male Guardian named Predacon. He seems very interesting, and bonded with A Smoke Gyre. Not only has a new dragon joined, but Andromeda returned! Aurora seems pleased that her mother is back.
I am very intrigued by Predacon. His name is unusual and I want to find out more about him.
Aside from that, little has happened. Food seems more challenging to find, but there’s always dry seasons. Some other dragons still had excellent success however. Fractal pointed this out, since he was impressed by their skill.

(03/09/2015)There's a rumor that Ridge and and Lockdown were seen around, but I don't think they are heading back here. That's somewhat sad, but then again they were really only passing through to begin with.

There seemed to be a little less food today than usual, and I had difficulty finding food. It's a bit unusual, but I'm not worried. Food levels fluctuate all the time.

(03/07/2015) Bryn and Stormcry had a huge fight today. It ended with Stormcry racing off. Now Cragleaper is furious at Bryn. I don't blame him at all. Bryn has gone too far, in many respects.

I was discussing with Fractal what happened. He didn't seem too keen to discuss it though. He said that we can't blame any dragon specifically, just because one was not strong enough. He said something to that effect at least. I definitely agree that we can't blame any dragon.

(03/06/2015) Things are still fairly calm. Bryn is still very withdrawn however, and over the past few days, I've seen Stormcry change. He used to either agree with his adopted father, or not say anything about Bryn's bitterness, but now he's rebelling. He and Bryn have been arguing a lot lately, mostly about the issue with Stormcry's siblings.

Cragleaper seems to be recovering somewhat, and Skyfall has been trying to help. Bluffhopper seems unsure of what to do. I tried to speak to Bryn, but he ignored me. I'm worried for him.

(03/05/2015)Fractal suggested a clanwide hunting party/contest sort of things, and to make a game out of it. Cambrie agreed. At first, everyone was sort of hunting together. After a bit however, we ended up splitting according to species again, for the most part. Not that I blame anyone, and most dragons didn't care. It's just so much easier to talk with other Coatls. And no one else can speak Coatl tongue. It's pretty cool actually.

At some point, after everyone split, I thought I saw Fractal upon ridge, watching everyone. But when I looked closer, I didn't see anything. Well regardless, he was probably merely hunting prey.

After the hunt was over, we all ate together. It was definitely nice to have a clan-wide meal. Usually we tend to eat if we are hungry, or in small groups.

For now, it seems everyone has forgotten the tension of the sickness.

(03/04/2015)With all the disturbance going on yesterday, I had forgotten to mention. Both Lockdown and Ridge left yesterday. I wonder if they will return with hatchlings.

For now at least, things don't seem to have gotten any worse. Most dragons are still quite friendly, even if they don't agree. Aside from this, little else has happened. Hopefully tomorrow will bring better news.

(03/03/2015)The disturbance about the sickness that killed the spiral hatchling and Bloodscale has spread. The Skydancers are angry, and rightfully so. The virus could have come from anywhere, according to both Achak and Xerxes. Pestilence has also acknowledged that there is no way of knowing that the Skydancer's somehow passed it on.

Still, other dragons are not so sure. Trop and Ical sympathize with Cragleaper and seem wary of Skydancers. Most of the mirrors seem to feel about the same, as do the Tundra's. Aurora, Hesperus and I all agree that this is quite ridiculous.

Most of the spirals seem to agree in one way or another that the Skydancers are to blame, even if just to stand up for Cragleaper.

Pwyll and Tempest seem offended at the idea of blaming a virus on Skydancers solely, especially since the virus could have come from anywhere. Myst and Erious seem to be avoiding the issue.

As for the other species, Imperials mostly seem to side with Cragleaper, while the Guardians side with Skydancers. Solstice and Enigma are staying out of it, but Havoc seems to side with Skydancers.

It feels as if many dragons are siding only with what their respective species agree on.

This sort of disharmony can't be good. It seems to only be discussion at this point however, and has not escalated into anything terrible.

Fractal seemed a bit troubled by all this, and he spoke to me a bit, wondering if perhaps some species are simply stronger than others. After all, Trop and Ical's hatchlings are fine. Why were Cragleaper's and Leaper's hatchlings so affected? In the past, such a notion seemed ridiculous, but now I rather wonder. Why were they affected. Food for thought I suppose.

(03/02/2015)Today I caught Xerxes stepping into Cambrie and Dovev's nest. He was there for a bit before he left. Then I saw Cambrie and Dovev deep in discussion. Even if I was close enough I wouldn't be able to understand them, but whatever they were discussing seemed serious. They keep glancing at area where the Skydancers were nesting, and towards Bryn.

Then... Cambrie and Xerxes flew to Bryn and spoke with him. I happened to be close enough to overhear. Xerxes found out what killed Bloodscale...
Apparently, it comes from a virus strain that affects mainly hatchlings, since their immune systems are not as strong. However, it is commonly carried by Skydancers, although any species could be a carrier.

Bryn apparently took this as confirmation that Bloodscale's death was Xerxes fault and lunged for him. It is good that Cambrie and Tihomir were nearby to stop him, for I fear he might have hurt Xerxes.

Cragleaper didn't seem to care much, only murmuring that it didn't matter how his hatchlings died. It seems so strange that Bryn would care so deeply about Bloodscale and Stormcry when they are not his own.

After that, Bryn skulked off. Stormcry, who came of age today, seemed upset to see his adopted father in such a state.

The only thing that seems to keep Cragleaper going is looking out for Stormcry.

(03/01/2015)Late last night, just after an evening meal, Ridgebounder gave whispered farewells to the clan, and left. Cragleaper hardly seem to notice, but Bluffhopper was rather upset by this.

Bryn is still not himself. I see him casting bitter looks at Xerxes and even other Skydancers. And something strange happened earlier. Xerxes seemed troubled, and unusually... distracted. I know Bloodscale's death weighed heavily on him, and he was trying to figure out the origin of the sickness. When I asked if he knew the cause of the sickness, he wouldn't answer and told me to leave.

Bryn has named the remaining Pearlcatcher Stormcry. While he seems sweet, I worry that Bryn's bitterness towards Xerxes and Apricot is rubbing off on him.

A new traveler has stopped by as well. A crimson scaled Wildclaw with silver colored circuit designs. Her name is Lockdown, and she heralds from Plague, although she says her home clan is of water flight. She said she is just traveling, seeking a mate. She seems enamored by the Skydancer, Ridge.

Andromeda has left for a period, but I think she should return soon. Aurora doesn't seem to mind, and I feel that sometimes she and her mother don't always agree or get along.

There is positive news, however. Food supplies are doing excellent, and it seems that the spiral's and Ridgebacks have come to put aside their anger. Fractal and I have become close friends, and I appreciate hearing his thoughts on matters.

(02/28/2015)Grief clouds my heart as I write this. Early this morning, Bloodscale perished. Xerxes tried his best, but she passed this morning. What makes it even worse is that the cause seems to be some strange sort of virus that we haven't seen before. Cragleaper is in a terrible state. Ridgebounder is distraught as well, as the new hatchlings were his half-sisters.

Bryn is not the same playful joker dragon that he once was. When he found out this morning that Bloodscale had died, its as if he changed. In his grief, he lashed out at Xerxes, angrily declaring that Xerxes had not been good enough to save her. He attacked him, shouting insults about Xerxes. I don't think anyone was bothered by it, but I guess Apricot didn't take kindly to her mate being assaulted. She accused Bryn of it being his fault and that Pearlcatcher's were weak dragons, and how Bloodscale should have been stronger.

The fight might have escalated, but Cambrie stepped in and Bryn sulked off. I think he will still care for the remaining hatchling. I'm not sure he should, but Fractal still insists that a hatchling should be primarily raised by it's own species.

I can't help but wonder why Leaper didn't stick around, and where she went.

Ridgebounder seems rather troubled, and I heard him talking to Bluffhopper about leaving. She wants him to stay, but I'm not sure he will. He seems fairly upset.

(02/27/2015)There has been little change in Bloodscale's health. Cragleaper is more depressed than ever, and has barely eaten or moved. Achak seem's concerned, since he was such an active dragon before. Xerxes is trying his hardest to care for Bloodscale, but he looks grim. I fear the worst.

Bryn is not himself, either. I suppose it was harder than I realized, being the only pearcatcher. He's not playful like he was, he's bitter. Twice already he has argued with Xerxes about his abilities as a healer. Xerxes of course, is quite irritated with him. I know he's doing all he can. I can only hope that Bloodscale survives.

A new dragon came to us today, a crimson colored Skydancer named Ridge. He says he is visiting from a lair deep in the Shadow Territory. His eyes are that of a wind dragon however.

(02/26/2015)Even as I write, I can hear Cragleaper's wails of despair. The spiral hatchling died. It perished from some sort of sickness I think. Cragleaper hasn't spoken since he found his daughter's body, and he hasn't moved, which is disturbing. He's just laying on a rock, staring.
Bryn is caring for the remaining Pearlcatchers but... one has fallen sick. The one whom he named Bloodscale. Xerxes is trying to care for her though. I'm sure she should be fine. I'm not sure if Cragleaper can handle the loss of two daughter's. And Bryn is terrible distressed, and he is no longer cheerful. I know he cared about the spiral as well, and seeing a hatchling he was only just given charge of sick... its really affecting him.
Fractal looked odd. Almost disturbed, and he kept muttering something to himself, about 'not strong enough'. I asked him about it, but he didn't say anything and said he needed space.
Perhaps some sort of sickness killed his clanmates?
Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news.

(02/25/2015)I have exciting news! Cragleaper returned today, along with Leaper. They have three hatchlings! One is spiral girl who looks just like Cragleaper. The other two are Pearlcatchers. One has daub colored wings, and the other has bar scales. They are very cute.
Leaper didn't stay for long, only for a meal and to say goodbye to Cragleaper. I guess she doesn't feel comfortable here. Fractal talked for a bit with Cragleaper. Cragleaper decided that the spiral girl would stay with him, but he would like Bryn to help raise the two Pearlcatchers.
I asked Fractal about it, and he pointed out that a hatchling would learn best from it's own kind. That makes sense I suppose. Bryn is ecstatic at the thought of raising them, and it's the happiest he's looked in weeks.

The mock tournament yesterday was incredible! It was a tough battle, and everyone fought well. Nives and Harmonia were paired, and that battle was spectacular. Nives won though. System and Zahra fought, and System won. Eventually, it was down to System and NatashaV. It was a spectacular fight, but eventually NatashaV triumphed.

It helped ease everyone too, since Emyr, Iris, Skyfall and Bluffhopper rooted for NatashaV. Having a mutual agreement helped.

(02/24/2015)I think things are settling down slightly. Slightly. The spirals and RIdgebacks don't give each other as many hateful looks as before at least.
The Guardian's are having some sort of contest between themselves I think. To see who is toughest. It sounds rather fascinating, and mock battles are always entertaining. They say they will hold the contest tonight. I will report more on it tomorrow. Personally, my bet is on Nives, or NatashaV. I think the contest was Fractal's idea, after he made a comment about how strong Nives is. I guess all the Guardian's want a chance to prove themselves. Needless to say, everyone is quite eager, and it seems to have lessened the tension.

(02/23/2015)Things between the Spiral's and Ridgebacks are still tense. The anger of just a few spirals has bled onto the rest, and they refuse to train together or hunt near each other. I can't really blame them though. I'm still angry at Quadrille.

Skyfall is on the road to recovery, but he won't be able to fly for some time, and it will be awhile before he is back to full strength.

Bryn got in a debate with Fractal over the whole idea of species separation. I guess Bryn is frustrated because he's the only pearcatcher. Fractal insists that its not separation, it's just training and hunting with ones own kind, which is easier. And he's right too. Besides, with the anger between Spiral's and Ridgebacks, as well as the fact that I am no expert in draconic, I don't think anyone really cared. I can't say I want to go back to before, although I feel sorry for Bryn. I remember how hard it was when I was the only coatl.

(02/22/2015)No good news today... Amynta was digging some tunnels and it was really getting on the Spiral's nerves I guess, although most of us are used to such interspecies quirks, Prisma is rather new to it. Iris demanded Amynta stop, but she refused. Then they started arguing.

Amynta made some cruel remarks about how spirals are too hyper and wild, and how they can't even hold a conversation properly or fly like a normal dragon. From there it escalated quickly, and within a few moments they were in an all out fight. Of course, Emyr stepped in to try and break up the fight, but quickly got involved. The Spiral's outnumber Ridgeback's nearly 3:1, and soon both species were fighting.

A couple dragons tried to break it up, including Hesperus but grabbing a Ridgeback in battle is a terrible idea, and Spiral's are hard to grab. Even Fractal got into the fight, although he didn't trade words with any of the spirals. He seems to be an okay fighter.

The sheer number's of the spirals would likely have overwhelmed the Ridgeback's, but Cambrie and several Fae's and Imperial's helped break up the fight. But there were some injuries to both sides. Namely, Amynta and Iris, and Skyfall. Xerxes said Skyfall won't be able to hunt for some time because of an injured wing, and Amynta has a limp now.

There's still a lot of animosity between the two species, and they haven't spoken to each other. Fractal doesn't seem as angry however. For now, they have moved as far away as possible from each other, at opposite ends of the camp.

Personally, I thought Amynta was cruel to the spiral's, especially since Prisma is a newcomer. Hmph. I suppose that's a Ridgeback for you. Not exactly team players...

(02/21/2015)I may have been a bit harsh in how I spoke of Skydancers. They just take a lot of pride in appearances I guess. Although it's a bit irritating, they aren't so bad.

NatashaV and her battle squad had a rough time I guess. Apparently they had some bad luck facing a Coarsefur yeti, but they should be just fine according to Xerxes.

The three mirror brothers, Fus Ro and Dah are quite a handful for Trop and Ical. They are exceptionally loud, especially for mirror dragons. And they cause a lot of trouble. They came in hear earlier, shouting and roaring, and scattered all my papers. Hmph. If they were my hatchlings I would teach them some manners.

The new Spiral, Prisma, has settled in well. She and Iris are close, and often share meals together.

(02/20/2015)Ugh the Skydancer's act so prestigious and stuck up. I guess it isn't really all the skydancer's, but it feels like it sometime's. I think Skydancers have a vain streak. Especially like, Roshan and Apricot and Kishar. Mostly Roshan though. As the only other sort of 'feathered' species, they act as if they're so.... so... beautiful or something. As if they are the most elegant species. Ha! As if elegance matters. Like Fractal keeps pointing out, strength if key. At least the Wildclaws seem to understand.
Roshan acts like he is the Windsingers gift to dragon kind. Kishar is even worse I think. It feel's like they are always looking down on us and out feathers.

At any rate, food is in good supply as always. Now every dragon has gotten used to associating with our own species. There were a few who were unsure, but Fractal pointed how strong they would become and how they could serve the clan even better. That was a couple days back, and now it feels normal as ever. I'm glad everyone has adjusted. I don't want to go back. It's much easier to hang with Hesperus and Aurora. It's hard to speak draconic.

(02/19/2015)Hesperus and I went hunting, and a group of Guardian's. Before we could catch anything though, the mirrors, wildclaws and spirals joined, and Fractal suggested to make a sort of contest out of it. We split into groups of two. I paired with Hesperus, and we decided we'd show the tundra's, especially Quadrille, that we were far more capable then some plant munchers. Myst and Erious won, while Hesperus and I came in second, and Trop and Ical in third.
It was a fun competition though. Myst and Erious make an amazing pair. I wonder if they are mates. Still, they've never had any hatchlings.

(02/18/2015)I was rather infuriated yesterday, and I redact what I said about tundra's. But I'm still angry about what Quadrille said. Fractal was around earlier and I told him about it. He got this odd look in his eyes, like he was remembering something. Then he murmured something about species but wouldn't clarify. I wonder if it had to do with what happened to his clan.
At any rate, Fractal and I spoke to Dovev today. Quadrille and his hunting party should not have been near Hesperus's, and I told Dovev just that. Cambrie pointed out that technically, they were trying to bring in food as well. All they did was give a general warning! Cambrie also had a talk with Quadrille about what he said but...
I'm still angry about it. Hesperus is still upset. I can see it by the look in his eyes. I wish it had been me. I've sort of gotten past it. Hesperus hasn't.
I'm rather glad that the different species have been keeping to their own. At least Aurora sort of understands, and Andromeda too.
As for news, Cragleaper said he's leaving for a bit, but that he will return. I suppose it has to do with the Pearlcatcher who visited for a bit.

(02/17/2015)Tundra's are despicable. Especially Quadrille. There was a bad argument today. Hesperus was out hunting with Andromeda and Aurora, and apparently Quadrille's tundra hunting party got in the way? I saw the last half. The fight escalated from a verbal one to a physical after Quadrille made a remark about how Hesperus was rejected from his clan and how at least Tundra's don't kick out their own species.
I can't believe the tundra had the nerve to say something like that! How dare he! Hesperus got in the first attack of course, and he would have won if Quadrille fought fairly. But then Cyclone butted in. Cambrie and Dovev broke up the fight pretty quickly, and Quadrille apologized, but it didn't seem very sincere. I can tell Hesperus is still angry. And he should be too! Quadrille had no right to bring that up.
Beside's, plant eating dragons like them shouldn't be allowed to hunt! They hardly contributed anything but nasty leaves and flowers anyway. It wasn't even Hesperus fault!

(02/16/2015)The hunting group returned today, and Cragleaper seemed surprised to see the Pearlcatcher, Leaper. They talked for some time in private, then she left. I think they used to know each other well. Bryn seemed disappointed that she left.
In other news, a hatchling showed up quite late last night. It was a female spiral, and she had pure white scales swirled through with violet. She is quite pretty. Neon offered to help look after the hatchling. Then Fractal interrupted and said that she should be raised with her own species, so Iestyn is helping to keep an eye on her. In the past, we never really picked who would officially raise hatchling, if it didn't have parent's. We would all pitch in mostly. I guess Fractal is right. Neon looked disappointed though. Tornado, one of the slightly newer Spirals, jokingly boasted that now there are just as many spirals as Guardians.
Hmph. I wish there were more Coatl's. Still, at least we outnumber the Ridgeback's.

(02/15/2015)Today another Pearlcatcher joined our clan! Well, I don't think she will stay, she says she's just traveling through. She did mention something about looking for someone though. A dragon born of lighting clan, but who lives with a wind clan. There's a few of them here, but she says she doesn't want to say anything about who she's looking for yet.
I think she will stay a couple days. Bryn is quite pleased, although the newcomer, Leaper, doesn't seem overly interested in him or most other dragons.

(02/14/2015)Today a few dragons decided to go an extended hunting trip. Cragleaper, Phrixos, Eos Andromeda and Amynta went. We aren't low on food, but Dovev thinks it would be a good idea anyway. Cambrie also says some new food varieties would be nice.

(02/13/2015)The nests hatched! The hatchlings are very pretty, and there's three new mirrors in the clan now, as well as new Imperials! Livewire jokingly suggested that the Imperials are trying to catch up to Guardians in sheer numbers.
There aren't many coatls but I bet we could still take on a Skydancer or Guardian.
Fractal was talking to Helium and Argon, and he was discussing training of all thing. He thinks that the hatchlings should start training as soon as possible.
I'm not so sure, it seems a bit soon. But perhaps its because of whatever happened to Fractal's clan. He mentioned something about how they just weren't strong enough. Hmmm.
Well at any rate, there has been a small celebration over the new hatchlings, as usual.

(02/12/2015)There are more nests on the way! Trop and Ical's nest will hatch tomorrow, as will Helium's and Argon's nest. I look forward to seeing the new hatchlings! Namacuix and Tihomir apparently got into a scuffle today during some training. Not sure exactly why, but I think Tihomir made a remark or something about guardians. They made up though, and it seems to have all been in good fun. Tihomir showed Namacuix some fighting tricks, and vice versa.

(02/11/2015)Today Cinder and Pwyll got into a friendly debate about whether Mirrors or Wildclaws could hunt better. After a couple minutes, they settled on a hunting challenge, to see who could bring back more food.
Everyone was quite excited to watch, even Myst and Erious seem very excited by the prospect of this contest. Fractal was very interested as well, and Dovev was in full support.
They went out to hunt and Cinder came back first, with good haul. Some rabbits, a few birds and such. Then Pwyll came back. He had more food, but he'd taken longer. Eventually they settled on a time, but I'm sure there will be more contests between those two. I wonder how Aurora Hesperus and I would fair against the other species, like Skydancers.
Fractal says that this contest was an excellent idea because it encourages everyone to do their best. I think he's right. There's a bit more spirit of competition now, and we have more food as well. Not that we weren't already doing fine, but this is more interesting than merely competing.

(02/10/2015)Ever since yesterday's group hunt, everyone has been asociating much more with their own kind. Hesperus and I train and hunt with Andromeda and Aurora. Fractal and Emyr pair up a lot, and dragons like Cyclone have spent more time with Terra and Nightfall. I think their group misses Pestilence and even Cinder, but they still spend time together.
I'm glad that we found Fractal. It seem's like we're even stronger now, although I doubt there will be any need for fighting.

(02/09/2015)Today we decided to do group hunting again. Everyone was s excited about the success we a couple days ago that they want to do it again. There's still some apprehensive dragons.
The hunt was an amazing success though! Hesperus and I hunted with Aurora and Andromeda. The four of us are a good team. Aurora is very skilled too. Andromeda seems bit haughty and slightly overprotective, but she taught her daughter well. I hope Cambrie and Dovev agree to more hunts like this.

(02/08/2015)Two new Coatl's joined our clan today! First was a beautiful female named Aurora with rippled seafoam scales and golden wings. Her mother, Andromeda, joined her soon. They look almost identical! They both have gorgeous scales. It's good to finally have more Coatl's. I think I heard fractal say how having coatl's will be good for Hesperus and I. Hesperus is quite happy about the change as well.

(02/07/2015)Solstice's and Enigma's nest hatched today! Three healthy nocturne's. Two males and a female. They haven't chosen any names yet, but they say they might allow the jade male to stay with a nearby ally.
Fractal helped bring in extra insects and meat just for the hatchlings. He hasn't been here long, but even Enigma seems to like him, and she and Solstice are usually quite suspicious.
On bit of a sadder note, a few dragons have left the clan to serve the great Windsinger. It is an honor, but they'll be missed.

(02/06/2015)Today during some battle training and hunting, Fractal suggested we split up according to species. After a moment, Cambrie and Dovev approved. Emyr, Amynta and Fractal paired off, and everyone else paired of according to species. Bryn felt left out I suppose, and he stayed behind. Hesperus and I paired off.
The hunt went amazingly. It was much easier to communicate with Hesperus, and Fractal's group brought back a good haul. We all enjoy each other's company, but I guess we've spent so much time intermingling we forgot how nice it feels to hunt with our own species. Blodwen, Amynta, Spiro and a few others seem uncertain, and Cambrie still seems apprehensive. She says that we'll try it again some other time, but for now, we'll stick with our usual methods.

(02/05/2015)Ever since Fractal arrived, I've seen him watch our Alpha battle team rather intently. He comments a lot to the others how strong the three guardians are together.
Then today, during some practice battles, he said something odd. He thinks that dragons are strongest when they are with their own species. I never considered that before, since this clan has so many different species and dragons. But our Alpha team is rather strong, and it's composed of all Guardians.

(02/04/2015)Fractal has made this clan his new home. I'm not sure what happened to his clan, but it's good that e found a home.
In other news, Enigma and Solstice are expecting some eggs in a few days! I'm excited to see some more Nocturne's.

(02/02/2015)Fractal has quickly adjusted to our clan life. He get's along extremely well with the other dragons, even the more standoffish ones like Eos.
I find him rather likeable, honestly. Unlike some dragons, he says he admires my work in recordkeeping.

(01/30/2015)I finally spoke to the Ridgeback. He told me his name is Fractal. What an odd name. His scales are... I have never in my life seen scales such as his. They shimmer and refract the sunlight, and they're incredibly shiny. Shinier than Zahra's scales!
I asked him about what happened to his clan but he won't say much. His voice is rather unusual though. He speaks oddly. Draconian is generally somewhat challenging, even for me, but his tones are... I don't know how to describe it. Smooth? It's rather strange, but likeable.

(01/29/2015)This is rather unsettling. The Ridgeback is, by all appearances, fine. Some of the blood was his, but not all of it. He has refused to speak much, but Xerxes estimates that the ridgeback got lucky in the fight.
This is quite fascinating. I intend to speak to this Ridgeback tomorrow.

(01/28/2015) We cleared out more lairspace earlier. Afterwards we were resting when NatashaV's battle squad returned with a badly injured Ridgeback. They say they found him while they were battling in the Boreal Wood... They hurried him straight to Xerxes and Achak. I think he's injured very badly. I wonder who he is, and why such an inexperienced dragon was out in the Boreal Woods. I must speak to him later. If he recovers.

(01/25/2015)Not much of note has happened. Iseul left after saying goodbye. Two of Achak's and Kasmut's hatchlings are planning on leaving. The Nocturne's settled in well, I believe Enigma and Solstice have feelings for each other.

(01/17/2015)The lair has become rather crowded. Also, Iseul has seemed rather distant lately. Perhaps he plans to leave. At any rate, we'll have to clear out some more space in the lair soon.

(01/14/2015) Earlier, Dovev and Cambrie held a meeting, but only with a few dragons, Azinnoth among them. This is the third time in a few weeks that such a strange occurrence has happened. Perhaps it has to do with how large out clan has grown. With so many different breeds and different flights, I suppose our clan is a bit odd.

Perhaps we will move to new territory soon. I can't imagine what else these meetings could be about...

(01/01/2015)The start of a new year! Clan life has been quiet for the past two weeks. A few dragons have left, but we are still a large clan.

Hopefully this marks the start of a peaceful year.

(12/22/2014)It has become plainly evident that the other dragons still do not fully trust Khorvash. I guess it will take time. Funny, they were all so eager to follow him before... I am not sure I can trust him though.

The helmet mysteriously vanished, which is unsettling to say the least. Khorvash says he might want to change his name. Symbolic reasons or something of the sort.

More importantly however, there was an interesting new addition to our clan. With this Night of the Nocturne happening, a Nocturne Egg was found. It hatched into a male nocturne. He's very odd. Always mimicking other dragons. Its kinda creepy.

(12/20/2014) I am elated! We were met with success. I so deeply want to write of everything that transpired, but Cambrie has forbidden me to. But still, one day I will write out the truth. Needless to say, it is quite the tale.

(12/11/2014)We are about to embark on the journey. NatashaV of all dragons will be co-leading with Emyr. Azinnoth, Achak and Nightfall (the hatchling from the shadow egg) and Iestyn went, as well as I. I must go, as we are about to begin. I pray to the Windsinger that we succeed. For Khorvash sake and the sake of the clan.

(12/09/2014)The clan is more stable now. As far as food goes, there is enough to feed the clan. Plans are being made to pay a visit to the Tangled Wood. A leader for the journey has not been chosen, but Easter and Emyr are both being considered.

I hope I will be allowed to go. I have suggested that we seek out the clan that gave us food some time ago. Perhaps they will know something.

(11/30/2014)No real progress has been made. A trip to the Tangled Wood is no easy task. There's a lot of territory to cross, and food supplies are down. As much as many dragons want to,the trip can't be made until the clan is fully stable again, and we have enough food.

I'll make another entry whenever there's more news about this...

(11/21/2014)Not too long after Khorvash had been imprisoned, the two Wildclaws came into my den. They didn't speak, only took some paper and writing material. Then they began to write. I wish I could have gotten a hold of their exact document, but they wrote in a strange way that was difficult to understand. Then they ran off to go see Cambrie and Dovev.

I followed them, and watched as they showed the paper to them. Whatever it said, shocked the two of them greatly. Another clan meeting was held.

The truth about that helmet was revealed.

Apparently, a long time ago, there was greedy and terrible leader of a clan Shadowflight dragons. His greed put his clan at risk many times. the greatest object of his desire, however, was a helmet said to be graced by Shadowbinder himself. He spent so much time pursuing it that his clan suffered, and some even perished.

He finally acquired it, but at great cost. Because he only cared for the helmet, and not the living breathing dragons of his clan, he was punished. He was sealed inside the helmet, bound to it.

When Khorvash wore it, this dragon in the helmet apparently tried to slowly take over his body, so to speak. Now the helmet is bonded with khorvash, or something.

Windsinger knows how those Wildclaws found out. Knowing the story doesn't really help though. I don't believe they know how to free him.

Dovev says that there may be an expedition made to Shadowflight territory to see if they know anything.

(11/20/2014) Khorvash has revealed his true nature. This morning he announced that as the strongest dragon in the clan, all would bow to him and obey him. Everything escalated quickly. All were in protest, and then he attacked Livianus as a display of power.

The others were afraid, but then, surprisingly, NatashaV stood up to him. Then the other dragons rallied with her. Then something strange happened.

Khorvash he.. he freaked out. i don't know how to describe it. he started screeching and clawing at the helmet. It was.. awful? scary? Weird? I don't know how else to describe it. He was writhing on the ground and crying out as if in pain.

I'm not an expert in dragontongue, but it sounded like... like he was was crying for help... It was a horrifying noise.

One of the dragons, I don't recall who, tried to tear the helmet off, but he almost killed them. And his eyes... his orange eyes had turned a purplish black color.

With the help of many other dragons, we managed to restrain him. The only place we could put him was one of my caves, since Cambrie was concerned about his fire and how he could use it. The fae's formed a strong cell for him and left him there. He's unconscious for now. Despite all attempts to remove the helmet, it seems all but impossible.

Azinnoth looked very troubled by everything that happened. After he spoke with Dovev and Cambrie, there was a clan meeting. They explained that somehow, the helmet itself was what was affecting Khorvash. A few dragons are convinced that the Shadowflight started this on purpose. Dovev and Cambrie say that they will make no accusations. A few of them think its related to hatchling of the shadow egg.

Most however, are confused. Dovev and Cambrie promise they will investigate and do everything possible to help Khorvash. For now, however, they say he must remained imprisoned. I doubt anyone will argue against that.

I wonder how a helmet could be cursed...

(11/06/2014) Quite a bit happened. NatashaV's hatchlings arrived. The clan has at least made an effort to welcome them. Thelind left, choosing to serve the Windsinger. Hesperus was very upset, although Citali did not seem to be worried. His daughter seems to be doing well.

Other dragons have left, many of them were gembonds that defected to other clans or left to serve a deity.

(11/02/2014) Some new hatchlings were welcome into the clan today! They are all very beautiful. Its amazing how well this clan has recovered, despite everything.

NatashaV is expecting her hatchlings as well. There is still some slight unease towards the gembond dragons who sided with us. I trust them, but not everyone has so easily been able to.

I have noticed the strange Wildclaws watching Khorvash quite a bit. How strange.... They're up to something. Now that the war is over, I intended to find out.

(10/31/2014)The plague egg hatched into female fae dragon. her wings are aqua colored and her scales are tangerine. She's rather odd. A strange Graveyard Guardian bonded with her.

Not much as happened. Most dragons are content to serve that mirror who dares to call himself a leader. They all serve him. Xerxes goes along with it, as does Azinnoth, but I can tell they are not happy. I don't trust him either. He has manipulated the other dragons into practically taking care of him because "As leader, it is crucial that he survive. The wellfare of the clan depends on him, since he was chosen by the Flamecaller." Did not one dragon even consider that we serve the Windsinger? Unbelievable.

(10/30/2014) Despite my fears, life has almost returned to normal. Amazing what a few days of proper food and no fighting can change. The dragons with magic have been helping Xerxes heal the other's wounds as best as possible, and for once we have enough for food for everyone to eat.

The tundra from the wind egg I found returned yesterday. She seems to be fine, when I asked her about where'd she'd been, all she said was that she had gotten lost but found her way home.

Khorvash still stands as leader. Cambrie is furious but Dovev is resigned. Aside from a precious few dragons, all seem happy to support Khorvash. Khorvash has made no effort to return the title of leader to its proper owner.

The Riot of Rot festival has reaped some new foods, and a plague egg was discovered. The two nests are close to hatching as well. All seems to be fine. For now.

(10/27/2014)Later: I spoke to NatashaV and she told me her reasons. She had joined Megatron because she was lured by the thought of power, but she soon began to disagree with his cruel ways. She saw how his hatchlings and grandhtachlings were. Most were cruel and power hungry like him. When she and Khyrsaor were expecting 3 eggs, she said she couldn't bear the thought of her children growing up in a war. When she tried to leave, Isis threatened to destroy her eggs, so she fought Isis. I am glad to hear of more hatchlings on the way.

Citlali and Thelind are expecting hatchlings as well/ But I fear that with Khorvash as leader, this may not be a good time.

Thankfully, with the acquiring of our old hunting territory and such, we finally have food.

(10/27/2014)Megatron threatened to execute Dovev and Cambrie if we did not surrender. Khorvash told the clan lies about how they would want us to keep fighting and not surrender for them, and that we just needed to fight more to win the war. They all believed him so readily, save for Xerxes, who was outvoted.

They began to prepare to fight, but I refused. That was when I spied something... NatashaV, one of the gembonds, attacked Isis. She... she actually beat Isis and took her Venomscale Bracers.

Then my clan attacked. I don't believe anyone was truly focused during the battle. Between the fighting, no one saw the NatashaV, Khyrsaor and Nyx confronted Megatron and his children. Between their efforts, and Khorvash's attack, we drove them back. Khorvash claimed that his powers were a gift from the Flamecaller and that it was a sign that we was to be leader. Then Glaw claimed that he had a dream showing that fire would lead the clan! I have never heard anything more ridiculous.

When Dovev and Cambrie showed up, Cambrie tried to argue for leadership, but only Xerxes, Azinnoth, and I were in support, along with Emyr. They all insisted Khorvash should lead. I noticed the two odd wildclaws looked very troubled. Come to think of it, I'm not sure they even fought any battles.

Something is wrong. Megatron might be dealt with for now, but I cannot find any joy. I want to speak with NatashaV later. Find out why she did what she did.

(10/26/2014)More fighting. Still more fighting. Yet... Many of Megatron's dragons are too weak to fight now. Even Megatron himself has stopped his dragons from fighting. How ironic that Megatron cares more for his family than Khorvash claims to care for his 'soldiers'.

I long for Dovev and Cambrie to return. if they are even alive. The others have seemingly forgotten about our leaders, and are more than happy to follow Khorvash, with his powerful fire and his helmet. He is no true leader.

I have not seen or heard of the tundra. I never even named her...

(10/25/2014)The war may be coming to an end. Megatron's side is growing weaker, mostly because I think we are more desperate. Khorvash however... Khorvash has become more cunning with his words. Convincing them to fight even when injured. Xerxes and Azinoths warnings are largely ignored, and they continue to fight and hurt themselves more.

Megatrons side is much weaker now however. These last couple days were terrible and bloody. Hesperus thinks maybe the war will be over soon, as long as every fights their hardest, no matter the cost. he says that all we need to do is fight harder. That we have to build a future for our sons and daughters. So now he fights still, even with a broken wing, despite my attempts to convince him otherwise.

Khorvash is manipulating these dragons, but no one sees it. Even Azinnoth said that Khorvash has a point. That if we keep fighting, we will likely win. Can they not see they are killing themselves? What is the point of a future where we are to injured to even live?

(10/24/2014)I... I am barely able to write this. Hesperus... Hesperus was injured badly. Since yesterday, there has been nothing but fighting. All through the night even. But it's not war. War implies some sort of organized attacks. This, this is not organized. The dragons are driven to rage by hunger.

There is no longer any fighting or any real organized efforts. The dragons jut... blindly throw themselves at one another. The only thing that stops them is on being injured too badly to continue. Roshan even attacked Citlali on accident.

Hesperus was injured by Pegasos, and his wing was badly broken. Azzinoth said he might not fly the same ever again.

But... the worst news is almost too much for me to write. I went to check on the tundra that hatched from the egg and... she... she was.... she was gone. I have searched all over and I cannot find her.

I cannot bear to write anymore.

(10/23/2014)I fled. I didn't know what else to do. There was a huge fight this morning. I think some of the other dragons caught Megatron's family stealing food. No one is dead, but there were serious injuries. I took the hatchling and I fled to a secret cave I discovered in one of the cliffs. After I made sure she was safe, I headed back to camp and... War had completely taken over. That fool Khorvash led the dragons into battle. Even the young ones, who are inexperienced.

There was so much bloodshed. Neither side won, but now that it has begun, only something drastic will end it, I fear. I am glad I left when I did. For now, both sides have retreated to opposite sides of the territory. There is barely enough food still, and the dragons are starving.

(10/22/2014) Later I hid the egg in a small chamber in my cave. It hatched into a beautiful female tundra dragon. Her fur is stonewash blue and her wings and ruff are gold. She is beautiful. I haven't decided on a name yet. For now, I will keep her in this cave. But I can't keep her here long. I don't know what to do... I must figure something else out.

Hunger is driving everyone to near-madness.

(10/22/2014)Early this morning I couldn't sleep. I went for a walk and then... I almost tripped over it. A wind egg left on our territory. There was a tattered and torn piece of paper attached to it, but I couldn't read it.

I took the egg home, but I don't know what to do. I haven't even told Hesperus. I'm worried. I can't bear to see another hatchling grow up in this environment. Already I can see the affect of this environment on other hatchlings. Some are cruel or weak or they're just... dull. They don't have as much energy as other wind dragons. I cannot let this happen again.

Some dragon left this egg here hoping to give it a chance at a better life. I refuse! I refuse to allow anything to happen to this egg. I will do whatever it takes to take care of this egg. Whatever it takes. No matter what.

(10/21/2014) Something didn't feel right when I entered my cave today. I can't place my finger on it, but its as if something is off, ever so slightly...

The tensions have risen more. We are all starved for food, but with Khorvash's power, the other dragons seem to have regained hope. I do not like it. It seems naught but false hope.

Now there is a divide again. Whereas the Guardians would move freely throughout our camp as they pleased, they now only occupy one side, and our clan the other. The Guardians are fearful of Khorvash's powers. Something must happen soon, it cannot remain like this for long. I fear however, that some dragons may desert.

(10/20/2014)Later...We were too late to stop the Mirror. He acquired It long before we realized he had. There is little that we can do now, but we will not stop until we find a way to reacquire It. Darkness is coming to this clan, but there is little we can do. We fear nothing can prepare them for what is coming. But we will try.If not for the sake of this clan, then for the sake of our Oath.

(10/20/2014)Strange dragons came in our midst today. They came with food. For once, something good has happened. They said it was a gift from the Shadowbinder. I do not know who they are, but I am thankful for the food. It has taken off the edge of hunger.

Khorvash has been acting stranger and stranger. He used to be humble, but the more the other's worship him, the more arrogant he becomes. And the Wildclaws keep giving him funny looks. Something very very wrong is going on.

(10/19/2014) We are starving. Our so called savior has brought food, but we are slowly starving. Yet the other still worship him! They act as if he is the Windsinger's gift to dragon kind. I suppose they are desperate. I cannot blame them. I wish I could believe that Khorvash will save us.

There is a greater divide now. Dragons have begun to realize that Megatron is afraid of Khorvash. There are talks of rebellion.

(10/17/2014) Today, Megatron's family retaliated. It was inevitable, what with Khorvash's fight with Eris a few days ago. But Khorvash did not lose. He defeated Amphion and Erato. Their wind powers and strength seemed to do little against him. It was unnatural.

The other dragons have begun to worship Khorvash. His victory was incredible, and now they think he is some sort of dragon sent by the gods. I do not believe them. But I am happy.

However, not all is well. The food stores have been dipping lower and lower. Khorvash will not hunt, and disappears often. The lands close to our territory have been run scarce of prey, and finding food has become harder. Everyone else believes Khorvash is our saviour. That he will kill Megatron.

As for me, I cannot forget my dream. The way Khorvash's fire was unquenched by the wind... Dark time are coming, I am sure of it.

(10/15/2014) It has only be two days, yet much as changed. We have food. And Khorvash...

One of Megatron's family members attacked Khorvash yesterday but Khorvash fought back. His magical abilities surpass anything I have ever seen. His fire burns hotter than any fire dragon I have known. The fire dragons in the clan say that he is gifted by the Flamecaller himself. And with his helmet, he can command the power of shadows. it is not natural, but the other dragons are emboldened by his display.

I fear that all is not right, however. I confessed my fears to Hesperus, but he thinks I am just worrying. Perhaps he's right...

(10/13/2014)...... Something... something has happened....

He came back to came today. Khorvash.... The way he hunted, I have never seen anything like it... it was unnatural. There was so much food, nearly every dragon in the clan was stuffed. He wears a strange helmet, and I see the wildclaws watching him intently.
I do not care why this has happened. Our clan finally has hope, and I am satisfied.

(10/12/2014)Nasreen and Iseul are near death. But what does it matter. there is no living. We are not living, we are not even surviving. We are dying.

Death hangs over this clan like a cloud. Soon it will claim us all one by one. Not even Megatron's family can fight hunger. Ha. At least they suffer as well. If we are to perish, they will perish with us.

(10/10/2014)It has been so long since I have written. After my last recording, food began disappearing. AT first, everyone assumed it was Megatron's family. But now they too suffer. It is hard to remember things anymore. I do remember that Khorvash is missing. I can't believe he deserted...

The Wildclaws still stay... The guardians are holding out fine, but the Skydancers Iseul and Nasreen and Roshan are near death. Every dragon fights each other over every scrap of food. EVen I am guilty of driving away other dragons, just so I could eat. The clan is tearing itself apart.

Megatron's family even fight amongst themselves sometimes. Perhaps this is how we will die. Starving and fighting each other.

(10/07/2014) Three mysterious hatchlings showed up in our territory. We chose to let them stay, as they are too young to fend for themselves.

(10/05/2014)There is unrest now. The Beast Wars they call it. The beasts, they're rising up. The ones of our clan seem loyal for now, but even Megatron and Isis seem worried. All of this, why is this happening? Its ridiculous to assume we are the sole cause of this, but I can't help but wonder if this is punishment.

(10/04/2014)Truly, not much has happened, despite what happened during my last entry. There have been food issues. Something is destroying the food stores, I think.

The imprisoned Guardians dragons are still alive, I believe. Perhaps the worst, however, is Megatron's choice to imprison Dovev and Cambrie as well.

Harmonia is still missing, and I have given up on following Khorvash.

As usual, there has been the occasional traveler. Passerby's, and such. The Wildclaw's are still around, and mysterious as ever.

Perhaps I'm missing details, but I am tired. I am tired of writing such grim news. I feel as if there is no point in keeping record anymore.

The rest of the clan has lost their spirits after Dovev and Cambrie were dragged off. Khorvash seems the only one who is not despondent. Something is up with him.

(09/29/2014){Blood spatters cover this page of writing} I feel sick. I do not even know if I can recount what happened, but it is my job as record keeper to do so.

Megatron and Isis came and dragged Boreas out, saying that he ‘would pay for betraying him [Megatron]’. Bera stepped forward and volunteered to teach the traitor a lesson. Then she just leaped on him. It wasn’t a dominance fight or a brawl. She tried to kill him. But... she... she underestimated him. He killed her. But then... Pherenike tried to challenge him. Zethus came to help Boreas, who was weak from Bera's attack. He was easily about to beat Pherenike when.. All of a sudden Megatron and Isis... they.... Zethus.... .....
Amphion, Zethus own brother, pinned him down and then... Isis and Megatron ripped him open. We tried to save him but there was so much blood and the poison from her bracers and the wounds... he bled out within the minute. Megatron announced that this should be a lesson to any who dared cross him or betray him.

Then he said how Pherenike would be punished for her weakness. Elayne was not happy. When she spoke up, Megatron forcibly silenced her, saying how she was not pure. When she tried to fight back, he exiled her and drove her off. Gwythern did nothing to stop him. He did not seem to even care. Then Megatron and his family dragged Boreas and Nyx off. I fear for what terrible things they have planned for them.

Oh how I mourn the loss of Zethus. He was a good dragon, he didn’t deserve to die how he did. I am still sickened by the image. It is not something I can forget.

(09/28/2014) More bad news. One of the skydancer hatchlings, Wryx, perished from the same sickness as the spiral. Although he hasn’t said so out loud, Xerxes blames Azinnoth and Iris. The last thing we need is division among us. I hope they find a way to get over this.

Khorvash stayed out even longer. I tried to follow him, but he somehow slipped away. I feel troubled... The spiral Blitzhorn also moved on. I don’t know where he went, although I suspect he went somewhere he could find a peaceful clan.

(09/27/2014)Two nests hatched earlier today. Two Skydancer hatchlings and two spirals. One of the spirals was sick, however. The sick one didn’t last very long, sadly. Iris is devastated. Azinnoth has distanced himself, and it has caused something of a rift between them. I think she feels that he does not care. I believe that it is easier for him to try not to care, because it would hurt him too much to care.

Megatron and Iris have been eyeing Nyx, Boreas and especially Zethus. I just know that his revenge against the ‘traitors’ is coming soon.

I haven’t seen Harmonia since her argument with Khorvash. I told Hesperus about what I saw, but he thinks we shouldn’t interfere. There’s too much to worry about right now. I have not told him of my dream.

The two mysterious Wildclaws still remain, although no one has seen or heard them speak a word. They just....watch...and listen. Its rather unnerving. They seem very interested in my writings as well. I wish they would say something.

Khorvash has still been slipping away at nights, sometimes not returning until early in the morning.

(09/26/2014)Megatron returned. He wasted no time reasserting his position of power while putting on quite the act for the visiting Wildclaws.

Speaking of the wildclaws, they are very...mysterious. They never talk, even to each other and certainly not to any other dragons, at least as far as I can tell.

But what happened last night worries me more than anything. I have the same feeling I did before... change is coming.

(09/26/2014)[1:00am]I am writing so late because I saw something. I couldn't sleep, so I went for a short flight. That's when I spotted Harmonia and Khorvash, talking in hushed whispers. They didn't see me, so I landed behind a rock and hid, watching them. I felt guilty for spying, but why come so far from camp to talk?

Khorvash said something that made Harmonia upset. She attacked with fire but.... I know fire against fire doesn't usually do much, but I was still concerned. She was much larger than Khorvash. But then... he... he seemed to literally absorb the fire. And then the Searing Emblem appeared above his head. Harmonia fled and Khorvash left. The emblem faded just a few moments later.

I fear that this has something to do with the dream I had. What if Khorvash is somehow the fire. What if he will destroy the clan?

And where did Harmonia go? What were they talking about?

I must tell this to someone...

(09/25/2014)Two travelers came into camp today. Wildclaws, both rather mysterious. They seem very close, yet I don't think they are related. I wonder if they will stay.

The dream I had the night before last... I haven't told anyone yet. Not even Hesperus. I feel guilty not telling him, but I don't know what to make of it. What I saw scared me. The fire, the way it consumed the territory...

Then I had another dream. I was in our territory I think. From somewhere, black tar began bubbling up. It trickled through the territory like a stream, and everything it touched became black like the tar.

I don't want to dwell on it.

There is more pleasant news. Blitzhorn returned today. With him are three hatchlings, all spirals. They seem quite nice. Four eggs are on their way as well, so that is rather nice.

Khorvash... he's been slipping out at night I think. A few nights ago, perhaps a week ago I noticed he wasn't in his nest. Then I noticed it again, and then last night as well. At first I thought little of it. But now somethings feels off. Perhaps I will follow him.

Megatron has yet to return however. There have been whispers among the clan that perhaps, just maybe, he won't return. I cannot say that I share their hope.

In other news, Harmonia seems unusually on edge. I'd noticed a change in her from a couple weeks ago, but I thought it was just stress from Megatron becoming leader.

(09/24/2014)I had...I had a dream last night. I have dreamed before but..last night was different, somehow. I was somewhere in the wind territory, both in my own body and as an observer somehow. A fire had started, just a small flame. But then it grew and spread, devouring the territory, cosuming it and turning it to ash. Wind blew at the flame, but it didn't seem to waver in the slightest. No wind, no matter how strong, seemed to be able to stop it. And then the it stopped, seemingly of its own accord. All that was left in its wake was ash.

I don't know why I should dream something so strange... I wonder if it means our clan will be destroyed. Perhaps our time is ending...perhaps these days will be our last, and fire will come and wipe out the clan...

I don't want to die. Some say they would rather die that live under the rule of Isis, but I don't want to die. I want my clan to live. I love my clan, and I want to keep hope for another day, that we can be what we once were.

(09/22/2014)Megatron has not returned. However, a few days ago, a strange loner spiral appeared, very briefly. Her name was Redwind. However, she soon left, along with a spiral who had been with us a short time, Blitzhorn. Strange things are happening, although the absence of Megatron is somehow more troubling.

At least we have had food. The others have grown accustomed to the suffering now, so it does not seem as bad... But even Cambrie has given up hope of being free again. A dragon caged, especially one born to wind, is terrible. Wind dragons love their freedom, and taking it from this clan...it has destroyed them, from the inside.

(09/19/2014)Well something odd happened. Megatron has disappeared. His usual armor was left behind, guarded by Isis, and his familiar did not go with him either. There's plenty of whispers wondering if we should try and drive them out not, but the loss of Megatron will not change how strong the family is. Especially not with Isis in the lead for now. Still, I can't help but wonder where he has gone.

Khorvash also bonded with a Magma Embear...

(09/15/2014)Things are better, if you can call it that. Living under the iron claw of Megatron and Isis is not pleasant. Any dragons not of his family are constantly picked on. They never try to seriously injure any dragon, obviously, since he still needs us to do his work. But we suffer the brunt of any attacks. At least we've had food the past couple of days...

And those of his family who chose to side with us... it is far, far worse for them. Megatron's family members take special pleasure in attacking them. They stand no chance of fighting back when its 5 to 1, and its only worse for them if they do.

But something else troubles me. There is something...odd about Khorvash. I have had a feeling since we found an egg, abandoned, but I never thought much of it. But I am certain there is something odd. Perhaps its just my superstitions, since he is the first egg found by this clan.

(09/12/2014) I can't go on. I don't know if I can continue surviving for much longer. I am hungry. So hungry. Hesperus, Eoghan, Thelind and I. We are starving. It's been days since the last proper meal. Days... Why oh why has this happened to us? Why did Dovev have to allow Megatron to join our clan? How could he have allowed himself to be fooled by that evil dragon. Curse Megatron! And what fool Cambrie and Dovev were not to see what was happening sooner. We never should have surrendered. At least we had more food then!

No no no...what am I saying. Cambrie and Dovev are fine leaders. I apologize. The true villain here is not them, but Megatron. Hunger has clouded my judgement. Despite his cruelty towards us, Megatron keeps the rest of the dragons fed. He must, if he wants us to do all the work for him. But he never allows us coatls out. He seems to take especial pleasure in denying us food.

I shall try to stay positive. Nasreen and Roshan have had laid their first eggs. That is good. But I fear for the hatchlings, when they come.

Oh when will this be over... Windsinger help us...

(09/10/2014)Things have been going very poorly. For the past few days, there has been no food gathering, and what little was had went firstly to Megatron's family. Then, two days ago, the entire food store was desecrated. Half burned, half rotted, torn to bits. Nothing edible was left. The culprit is unknown. It may even be one of our own.

Although we went night hunting, the food brought back could not feed all dragons, and so many went hungry, especially coatls. It has been days since a proper meal.

If this continues, the clan will perish.

(09/04/2014) I write this entry with a heavy heart and aching wings. Dovev and Cambrie had no choice but to surrender this morning. No dragon is happy, but even the most foolhardy and aggressive dragons realize that we cannot hope to fight back, not when so many are injured. Not when a fight would surely result in the loss of friends.

We moved to the Twisting Crescendo today, but there was no joy in the move to a new lair, as in the past. I do not know what plans Megatron has in store, but they surely will not be good. Right now, Dovev and Cambrie are being held by him and his little 'family'. Perhaps they plan to execute him.

All the others are resting for now, but there is tension still. The identity of the traitor is unknown, and there is no longer any trust. At a time when we need to rely on our calnmates more than ever, we are drifting apart.

Khorvash came of age today. What terrible times for him to grow up in.

I don't know if I will be able to continue my records. If Megatron finds out, I doubt he will be pleased. I will do my best to hide them.

For now, this is it.

(09/03/2014)I am barely able to even write what transpired this morning. It pains me. Literally. The assault was set for early this morning, just before dawn. For a brief few moments, everything seemed to be going fine. We attacked, they were surprised. Then we were ambushed. The other Gem dragons came from seemingly nowhere and ambushed us from all sides.

We barely escaped with our lives. Several of my wing feathers were burnt or torn out. Other dragons suffered far worse than I. Hesperus very nearly had his throat torn out, we barely managed to stop the bleeding.

What we did can hardly be called a retreat. We simply ran for our lives. The Fae dragons and some others are using the last of their strength to preserve the barrier and make it safe. But the Gem's seem more than content to wait us out. Barely any of us are fit to fight. Mirza is, along with Spiro and perhaps System. The others are either too badly hurt, or unconscious.

I know the Gem's will attack again soon, and then it will be over. We cannot fight them. Now we can only await the inevitable.

Even worse, every dragon knows what the ambush means-there is a traitor among us. Some dragon revealed all of our battle plans to the enemy. The unity and ferocity of yesterday seems but a faint memory now. Whispered accusations are all over the camp, especially towards the guardian dragons.

I fear tomorrow. I'm scared of what is to come.

(09/02/2014) Perhaps there is hope. Gathering food went excellently, and all dragons were able to eat. There are even leftover supplies of food for tomorrow.

The sneak attack I mentioned yesterday happened late that night.

It was lead by Blodwen, A dragon who has been a clan member for a long time. Harmonia, Vasilis, Eos, Azinnoth, Behruz, Kohinoor, Amynta and Glaw were part of the team. It was a small attack, but successful. We pressed them back a bit, before we had to retreat. We also stole some food from them, which will certainly help.

Cambrie is planning a second all out attack for tomorrow. She wants to strike now, as soon as possible, while they are weakened from yesterday's attack. She believes a swift and powerful attack will convince Megatron that we are not worth the trouble of a takeover.

The dragons are on a sort of high after the news of the win, and are more than ready to attack again. Perhaps this may be over soon. I rather hope it is.

Xerxes says Nyx is recovering well, save for her wings. He fears she may be permanently crippled, although he has not said so to her yet.

The young mirror, Khorvash, is doing exceptionally well. Despite being a hatchling, he seems to possess a quick wit. I have been teaching him how to read and write, and I have seen him mimick the battle moves used by others. He is doing remarkably well.

That is all for now.

(09/01/2014)It is the start of a new month. The Flameforgers festival ended... Today our scavenging parties were very successful. We had enough food to feed nearly every dragon. Eoghan gave some of his share to his sister, Thelind. So eager were us Coatls for food, that we devoured all the seafood stores. Hopefully tomorrow will prove more prosperous.

There is talk of Cambrie working on a surprise attack against the Dark Gems.

That is all for now.

(08/31/2014) Things have not gotten better. The Coatls are slowly starving, due to our selective diet. I have not had food for at least 2 days. At least Emyr has recovered well. He still cannot walk well, but he can fly. The Dark Gems have no such food troubles, it would seem.

Easter will die soon, but we Dovev wants to put together a rescue mission. None of the dragons are eager to be part of it. I fear some may leave, although I can't blame them. I am trying to see hope n this situation, but all I see is suffering and bloodshed.

Wait....

Nyx, one of the dark gem's, just collapsed outside the magic shield. And she has Easter with her!!! I must see how she fares.

Easter is a little roughed up, but unharmed. The same cannot be said for Nyx. According to Easter, Nyx saved her. Then they were attacked by Eris. They managed to get away, but not before Nyx was gravely injured. Xerxes says she may survive, but he is worried about her wing, which was broken badly.

Easter says that Nyx told her that Boreas and Zethus are on their side. Dovev and Cambrie say they must think before acting.

The young Mirror whose egg was found is doing well, at least he has not had to starve.

As it happens, so it shall be written.

(08/30/2014)It has only gotten worse. Both sides have injured dragons, and now food supplies are all but depleted. Hesperus and I, as well as the other Coatls, are slowly going to starve if this continues. This is perhaps the first time since coming here that food has run short. The only food left are plants.

And now, now Easter, firstborn to Cambrie and Dovev, and heir to this clan, has been captured. Megatron is holding her captive, and we have two days to surrender, or she will be killed.

Some dragons say they would rather surrender and live than fight and die. But there are those who refuse to surrender. I do not know what I would do. It seems wrong to let another Clan member die, yet... I do not know.

I shall tell more later.

(08/29/2014) I am only now able to write. Something terrible has happened, and something good. But I will start with the terrible news first. War has broken out. Not moments after Emyr awoke, an attack took place. I don't believe it was coordinated, but it had been a long time coming. Megatron and several of his family members attacked the healing cave to get at Emyr. All dragons not of his family retaliated. The battle that followed was long and bloody.

The fighting has been continuing on and off for the past couple days. Right now there is a lull, but there are many injured dragons. Our side may not hold much longer. It is onbvious they desire to wrest control of the clan from Dovev. Megatron's son Amphion almost succeeded in killing Dovev, but then I witnessed something odd. Boreas, son of Jadeeite and Amphion, fought his own father and gave Dovev time to recover.

And when Nikator and Erato ganged up on Cambrie, Zethus fought alongside her, driving them back. It would seem not all of Megatron's family choose to side with him, although this may be a trick.

As of now, we are taking refuge and the Fae dragons are using their magic to create a barrier. Boreas and Zethus are just behind the barrier. They are not allowed inside the camp yet, although they seem content to wait and prove their loyalties.

But there is good news. Or rather, news that is not bad. A fire egg was discovered today, and hatched into a Mirror dragon. It is unknown whether he will be adopted by one of the other dragons yet. I rather think I wouldn't mind helping to raise him...

For now, I must go. I will write more as it happens.

(08/27/2014)I am here now in the healing cave. Other dragons have taken to guarding Emyr, fearing another attack. I have declined to do so, not because I do not care, but because I do not believe I am strong enough.
Behruz is here now, keeping an eye on the entrance.
Xerxes is surprised Emyr made it through the night, but he is still not optimistic. I am trying to keep hope, but- wait hold on....

Emyr is awake!!! He...wait somethings happening
Oh no.

(08/26/2014)Much has happened over the past few days, although am only now able to record the events that took place. Two days ago, on the 23rd, Emyr was almost recovered, but then his health declined severely for no apparent reason. Xerxes believes he was poisoned, and the clan is in an uproar. Whatever uneasy peace remaining between the two factions has vanished, and frequent brawls have broken out. With the arrival of a couple new dragons, and hatchlings, food supplies are lower than usual. Thankfully, there have yet to be any more serious injuries.

However, Xerxes fears Emyr will not survive much longer. If he dies, then so will the secret of his attacker, and why he was attacked. Many dragon believe he witnessed something, but there is no proof.

Most of Emyrs hatchlings have moved away for safety reasons, although one remains. If Emyr perishes, then all remaining peace will go with him, and there will be war. Even if he recovers, things will not fare any better I fear.

(08/21/2014)More bad news. There have been some scuffles today, although none as serious as yesterday. Behruz and Krios fought, but Megatron told his step son to back down.

The hoard is getting low, but Nikator accompanied Harmonia and System to gather more. Vasilis scuffled with Tempest due to Dovev allowing Nikator to go gathering. I fear that Dovev is in danger. I have heard whispers of dissent from the other dragons, wondering if Dovev will ever do something about Megatron.

The three returned from hunting without any issues, but it seems that Nikator ate some of the catch.

(08/20/2014)I have very unfortunate news. Emyr, the Ridgeback, who is being groomed for leadership of the clan, was severely injured today. It is not know exactly what happened, but his legs were badly injured, and one was broken. There are also other injuries, most notably one to his head. He is not awake yet, so his attacker is unknown. However, most of the clan blames the Dark Gem dragons. Emyr's new mate, Kohinoor, is worried sick.

This attack is the most serious incident since the clan formed. Eurybia, the Guardian dragon, got into a brawl with Eris. Iris retalited by striking her with her venomscale bracers. Eurybia was poisoned, although Xerxes says she should be fine in a few days.

War might have erupted, but Dovev broke him and managed to pacify things somewhat. But everyone knows the peace won't hold for long.

(08/15/2014) There is excellent news. The two nests have hatched, and there are a total of six hatchlings.

(08/14/2014)I am writing this from my nest. Megatron's family has not had any new additions in days, at least a week. There is a uneasy peace now, but I fear it is just the calm before the storm. And when the storm comes, everything will change. On a brighter note, my friend Hesperus welcomed two new coatl hatchlings just days ago. They have yet to receive names, but they are quiet nice. There is also two nests on the way, they will hatch tomorrow.

(07/30/2014) Dissent and rebellion is growing. The dragons not of Megtron's 'family' are beginning to feel threatened. Their large numbers means the meat stores in the hoard are always low. Tensions grow stronger, as Megatron's mafia does.
Dovev has confided that he fears the war that will come if he rebels against Megatron's control.
There have also been new arrivals in the clan. Some, seeking to join the family of Megatron, others who seek a new home. The first female Coatl has joined us and found a mate in Hesperus.

(07/29/2014) The Plague Snapper Aerona has left the clan. Her absence will be felt by all.

(07/29/2014) It has been a month since I made an entry. Dissent is brewing in the clan. Megatron's gang grows ever larger, but the loyalty of his grandchildren may not be guranteed. Our lair has grown much larger as well. I fear war will come soon. if it does, then it will not bode well for any, even Megatron himself.

(06/26/2014) Megatron and Isis family has expanded. His two daughters got mates, and they now have two young sons, Amphios and Zethus.

(06/21/2014) Megatron and Isis are expecting two more children. Isis wishes for more daughters, although Megatron wishes for son.

(06/11/2014) Megatron and Isis have given birth to two hatchlings.

(06/06/2014) Megatron found a mate, Isis. All hope for a revolt seems gone... for now.

(06/06/2014) Akira left to serve the Windsinger.

(06/02/2014) Aella left to serve the Windsinger.

(06/01/2014) Despite the problem of Megatron, a group of dragons left to the service of the Windsinger. Kastor, Hafren, Olwyn, Terrwyn, Eira, Aliki, Hakon, Cloudfall, Daiki all left.

(05/17/2014) Megatron has taken over.
Dovev and Cambrie are powerless to stop him. If a revolt happens, they risk the lives of eggs and hatchlings.

(05/16/2014) Clan life has been proceeding normally. New dragons have joined. Thing's are good, the dragons eat well, life is happy.

(04/15/2014) Dovev and Cambrie come together and found the clan.

Hey, I like the story you give to your clan. The tension of it is interesting to read at. If two of my dragons I bought from you discovered their birthclan, it's going to be a nasty find.
