Clan Information

Baccano Bluffs is on the eastern shoreline, in the northern section of the channel between Dragonhome and the Viridian Labyrinth. A cave opens at the base of a cliff, its mouth jagged and rough, seeming naturally made by the sea’s rough waters beating along the rocky coast. The only indication of dragons living therein is the myriad footprints leading to and from the cave; otherwise one would assume that it was abandoned.
Entering the cave, light filters down from naturally occurring crevices, sunlight illuminating just enough to see a bend in the tunnel, where sounds of activity can be heard a ways ahead. Once around the turn, the light shifts to artificial; a lamp can be seen hanging from a nearby stalactite. Water drips down the walls, fresh instead of salt, and though the smell of the sea is still strong, other scents - wood, smoke, food cooking, the unmistakable odor of alchemy, and floral - blend together to create a bouquet that indicates the manner of dragons that live just a bit further in.
Once the final turn is completed, the cave opens up, light spilling from both lamps, natural sunlight from the ceiling, and what appears to be magical illumination in one corner of the greatroom. Tunnels, obviously dug by the claws of Ridgebacks and later smoothed by Snappers, lead off in multiple directions, some spiraling upwards through the cliff to the peak, where an observatory is cleverly disguised as a standing outcrop of stone, although at night, occasionally light is seen spilling from windows chiseled out of the cliff face, serving as both magical workshop and unintentional lighthouse. Other tunnels lead to nesting chambers, storerooms, and deep down to a dark root cellar for the storage of foods and other goods. In one corner, water trickles down from a crevice in the stone, pooling into a freshwater lake which has been shored up with carved stone, creating a never-ending source of hydration. Down one long tunnel, natural light again illuminates the way; a garden is seen growing in a large room, open to the sky above.
This is Clan Baccano’s home; ever-changing, ever-growing, and where friends are ever-welcome.

Cabrie was just too lovely to pass up, and I'm always a big fan of Gainstrive's art, so that just sealed the deal! He's sure to have a good home for quite some time in my lair.
