There are legends of this place. They say the Cavern was carved by unnatural means, the remnants of a hidden god escaping from one world to the next. It sits on the edge of a drop into the darkest sea abyss, its innards spiraling down into depths beyond what any can imagine. Go down, deeper, deeper still, and you will find the Temple. A sacred place, hidden from prying eyes. It is here that they worship, at the mouth of a forbidden door, a secret they would slaughter and sacrifice to keep hidden. The legends whisper of Leviathans that lurk in the darkness beyond, old gods deep in slumber, waiting for their time to return. But those are just legends.
