Located in the inner outskirts of the Hewn City is a moderately sized clan of dragons. The dragons, led by the fearless Aristina and her mate, Carcin, seem to be as patchwork a collection as the crumbling ruins they've built their homes around. Stay long enough, however, and it all starts to make sense. The dragons that call this place home all share a thirst for knowledge; their wide-ranging eccentricities happen to complement each other, helping them challenge and expand their spheres of interest. While there might be drama and squabbling between various clan members, these dragons have come together by choice, and they have no keen interest to rock the boat.
This lair is located on the outskirts of the Hewn City, featuring long twilight hours and a moderate amount of late afternoon light.

The very heart of the lair is punctuated by a large, ruined stone tower, which Aristina and Carcin denned around early on and never moved on. While the base of the tower serves as the clan's hoard, the decimated upper stories have become home to Pantheon and her hyperactive children. While the clan continues to grow, the tower and the few homes built around it remains as the safest area. This is why a lot of close-knit families tend to stay here, as well as those who are deep into research. Both Geiger and Suhail are almost constantly wrapped up in some project or another that will benefit the clan.

commonplace
The common area of the lair comprises mostly of stone foundations and dry grass and makes a wide ring around the tower. While there's not quite enough light for plants to grow healthily, there is plenty of yellowed underbrush and some tangling vines. Most of the dragons hardly notice this, obviously, and clear it away when it becomes a problem. This open space is dotted with dragon-made structures, and is home to the lair's workshops and forge. It stands to note that this is the largest area of the lair - one day, the clan may even create their own little hamlet here, so long as they can all get along. (The drama in this area? Outrageous.)

lair outskirts
While not as strictly defined as the center of the lair, this space is considered the boundaries of the clan's territory. Dragons who live this far out from the tower generally have a reason to do so; they either prefer their solitude, have had enough of somebody else's attitude, or haven't yet integrated into the clan. Larger dragons, as well as dragons who travel a lot, have made themselves comfortable in this grassy field. This is also where the ridgebacks of the clan have been working on their own underground tunnel system, which is apparently entirely made for fun.

hatchery
The hatchery moves depending on a seemingly arbitrary basis, although the dirt chosen is always particularly warm. The eggs are primarily tended to by their parents, while Naksha keeps the hatchlings out of trouble.
