Some information about Haven:
Haven is a small sanctuary deep in the foxfire bramble, a dragon-made grove filled with alchemical light as bright as day and plants of all kinds. It is a place created for that small group in the clan who remember their first flight longingly and pine for the fertile abundance of the Viridian Labyrinth. The progenitors and their children, Spring, Lilac, Nereid, and many more - the others in the clan, native born to dark and shadow, felt for them and carved out a small place in the lurking deep of the bramble.

It was a clan-wide effort. The alchemists created the ever-burning lamps and the fighters patrol the borders. Mirrors and glass were added for a lovely, light-reflecting roof; dangling charms and chimes create pleasant music at the slightest breath of wind. Lilac turned all her garden affinity to making things grow and Susurrus wove magicks of protection and peace.

The light might be an illusion, but it makes for a pretty one - the sanctum created is all mild heat and the sweet green scent of blooming plants. Lush, magically-cultivated grass carpets the space completely save for a pale stone promenade. Hatchlings tumble among the flowers under their keepers' lenient eyes. A small pond teems with koi and other attractive edibles.

Those dragons less comfortable with illumination lurk around the edges of Haven, living in the brambles which surround the oasis. They, along with the clan's strongest fighters, protect it implicitly. No outsider is allowed so much as a glimpse at the bizarre eternal summer deep in the heart of Shadow realm.
