About Clan Plague:
Clan Plague is a very old an prestigious clan in the Scarred Wasteland. They are well known for training up dragons for the Plaguebringer, and welcome all dragons who make their way to them to be trained by the clan in order to be sent to the Plaguebringer. The permanent dragons are responsible for training, feeding, and overseeing the recruits that come to them, and believe that they are serving their deity well by preparing warriors as best they can for her. Each child of Clan Plague can choose what to do with their lives, but many choose to enter the ranks of the recruits to be trained. Due to their notoriety, Clan Plague's overseers/current staff have a certain haughty nature and level of snobbishness, they tend to consider themselves like royalty in the Plaguemother's domain.
All recruits are treated very well, and may choose to leave their training if they cannot handle it. The lair is extensive, and each recruit gets their own space, as much food as they need, medical treatment if they need it, and generally anything they need. Some recruits decide to stay with the clan and help, and sometimes clan members decide it is their time to go serve.
Many come far and wide for the renowned training Clan Plague offers. They stay in the lair as long as they need until they are ready. All members of Clan Plague believe that the time will come when they know it is their time to go serve, most recruits come to them with that in mind. There have been times when poor, or down on their luck dragons have joined them mostly for the benefit of a safe place and some food, but regardless of intent, Clan Plague treats all who come to their door kindly, even if they terminate their training after they have gotten their strength up. Those that take advantage are always remembered though, and often dealt with in time.
Clan Plague prides itself in its lair. With many of its core members being natives of the Scarred Wasteland, they are quite aware if how to tame and live alongside the grotesque landscape. Those who step into the cave they call home will be pleasantly surprised to find cool rock, and the ground unsquishy or warm like the inside of many Plague Lairs. With many years of cultivation, much like with bonsai, Clan Plague has trained its living environment to be mainly ornamental. Tentacled chandeliers hang from the fleshy ceiling, and comfortable chairs sculpted out of growths dot the inside of the cave. Quite a haughty group, decor is important to the clan, and you can find many pretty trinkets laid out ever so carefully in the lair.
Each dragon, even trainees, are allotted its own space to make its own, and many of the dragons not native to Plague Lands do their best to maintain a semblance of home. The lair is an extensive network of caves and tunnels dominating the majority of a large and foreboding cliff overlooking the Wyrmwound.
