Hi! I’m Midnightstar, or Star for short. I'm a Kindergarten teacher in Arizona. I LOVE reading and never have enough books! I even hope to get a Master’s degree in reading, so that I can share my passion for reading with young children. I am a quiet person, but am also quite friendly. Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in any of my dragons, or just want someone to chat with!
Any unnamed dragons, or dragons without familiars, at the end of my lair are for sale, so feel free to buy them at auction or message me if you want to make another offer.
I’ve been a member of Flight Rising for 4 years now, and still love it! I’m working on writing biographies for some of my dragons. I’ve always wanted to, but with school, work, and life in general, it’s been difficult to find the time to sit down and write. I hope you enjoy your visit to my clan!

Welcome to Hikaru Streams, a mighty clan of the Hewn City. Hikaru Streams is made up of a variety of dragons who pull together to create one large, unique, loving family. The dragons that make up the clan, believe strongly in family, and view their clan as an ever growing family. Zana, the first dragon, leader, and protector of Hikaru Streams, watches over the whole bunch and welcomes each dragon. As the leader, Zana gives each dragon welcomed to the clan their official name. Dragons may be given nicknames by other dragons but are always addressed by their proper names by the leader. Hikaru Streams is a clan that tries to live in peace and respect all other clans. While Zana may be the leader, every dragon plays an important part in the clan and respects all other members' efforts. When disputes arise within the clan, peaceful measures are used in settling them. The clan will fight to protect its members and territory if necessary.
Hikaru Streams has its own dragon school, Lumina Academy. The school offers many studies for dragons, young and old. All dragons are required to attend the academy, even those joining later on in life. The philosphy of the school is "You're never to old to learn." Everyone in the clan is expected to take up at least one course in order to do their part. Even dragons devoted to caring for the hatchlings of the clan must attend the academy. Courses are offered for every significant task in the clan. It is not a physical building or one place, but an academy that takes place wherever is best suited for the intended study. The leader of the school is Natela, who is the ambassador for the light school. She's a scholar in all areas but has her preferences. She takes part in all aspects of the school and mentors the many instructors of the academy.
